- My first railway visit of 2013 was to the Bodmin & Wenford Railway for their Winter Steam Up event. This event featured 2 home fleet locomotives running alongside GWR Railmotor 93 which has been based at the railway for several months. 4247 took charge of the passenger trains while newly overhauled pannier tank 6435 took charge of the 'Auto Train'. It was a good day all round as thankfully the weather was behaved and there was no wind and rain like the previous few weeks and it was great to see the Railmotor running once again.

Very nice to see an Autotrain and a Railmotor together. Pannier looks very pretty. Great shot of the Railmotor storming up the gradient.
Thanks for the comment! 6435 is probably my favourite pannier, looks lovely!
Thanks for the comment, I'll probably see it at the West Somerset too, looking forward to when it visit's the South Devon though!
Thanks Dec, Think 6435 looks brilliant, can't wait to see it again for myself haha
Great video. I'll be seeing the Railmotor at the West Somerset's Spring Gala. Hopefully I'll see 4247 and 6435 someday, too. Dan
As far as i know the signal is for the line that runs into the platform, for run rounds trains use a ground signal which is placed towards the end of the loop
Fantastic Jake. The Railmotor looks great, as does 6435 in BR Lined Green!
Great video! You have some good shots there.
Andrew
