Nice to have a friend to loan you a shiny D3! Great vid. It is amazing to see how the falcon is so in her element. Hey Dave, I'm so happy to finally figure out those Raptors I saw swarming in the "kettle" near Dell City, Swainson's Hawks, light morph! It drove me crazy for 2 months. Now that I recognize them, I realize they are everywhere out here. Big birds! BTW I sold my Alpina 3 and ordered a Delta 4, so tough to wait!
Paul Dutil it depends on the bird and the conditions. It can be a few months or a few years. I'll get back to ya about how long it took for Sophie and Bunco to come to the glider. Great questions! Keep em coming!

Hey thanks! Glad you liked it! ! Congrats on the new wing! Dave and I actually had a conversation about you sighting of the kettle of Swanson'a hawks!
Yup, Topher shared the ID of your kettle with me, and I checked it out. Nice detective work!

Question. how is the first flight with the bird done? how much training does the bird receive before first flight?
That's a great question. Do you mean Friday parahawking flight or first free flight for the bird?
@@SoaringSpirits first free flight for the bird.

What company makes your wings?
There are a variety of manufacturers. They are all a bit different. Mostly European companies.
