    Check the GPS on Google Maps... That's your rig from the satellite! Awesome video as I plan my trip there next week. This is great spot south of the crowds. I have 17 ft. Winnebago trailer so getting the drive around from your bike helped me pre-scout! Thx!

    Fantastic and inspiring! Can’t wait to go to those beautiful dispersed camping areas in the south west ❤️🙏 I’m near retirement at 65 here in Montreal Canada and can’t wait to bring my Jeep grand Cherokee suv and trailer away from our Canadian winters to the mid January Quartzsite RTR either next November at the earliest or at the latest November 2024! Probably still working as a public school teacher and musician one more year until age 66 max! Can’t wait to meet you all and learn in person! You keep mentioning 14 days dispersed camping but whose counting the days? Are there some BLM folks coming around checking to see how long you have been there? How do you remember how you got back to your camp site? Do you have a handheld GPS device? I’ve never ever camped before but I’m interested. Does it feel weird being the only person at some of these spots?

    • @DispersedCamperMan
      @DispersedCamperMan  8 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Thanks for the comment! Nobody counts the days but you. If a ranger goes by and sees you camping, then comes back by three weeks later, he'll know you have over stayed your time limit. There are some, not many BLM spots that rangers do come by often to ensure you are not over staying your time limit. I mainly use my iPhone with google maps on it to find my way around. If I'm going to be in an area with no cell service, I just download the area maps prior to arriving. It definitely does not feel weird being the only person in a spot. I definitely prefer to be the only person around in an area. If there are to many folks where I want to go, I normally keep driving till there aren't to many folks around.
