Firstly thank you for your kind words! A lot of lines in Switzerland are bi directional, sometimes it's used to loop trains on the move, other reasons could be they are heading to a yard that side of the line. It's not always obvious annoyingly!
Thank you! Pratteln is fantastic as the freight is concentrated through there. There's nice shots near Pratteln but the lines split off so there'll be less freight. Salina Raurica is the next stop on the Frick trains, you can get nice shots there, there's shots all along the line between Pratteln and Frick, go on Flickr Maps and have a look around the area for ideas!

Great video, I am going to basel and aim to go to Pratteln as I want to see freight - anywhere in that area you would recommend I visit please?
