Awesome video Craig! I’ve picked up a load of targets with the monster after going over the same ground with the 7000 only to have a 6000 come through and find a heap more. I feel it’s a lot to do with the user but your videos give us the best chance with each machine. Thanks for sharing buddy!👍✨👍
Thanks for this video. I tried the 12 x 7 NF coil in an area I have flogged over the last 18 months and picked out 25 targets (no gold) I had missed previously. I think the shape allows you to push it around vegetation and it is very stable.
Great test Jenko,,to me the 11" had a slight advantage, there seemed to be a bit of interference about plus.the hot ground. If you were amongst tree litter,, you would miss a lot of those deep targets, keep up the good work. Eddie
Cheers Eddie, yes I think the 11 has slightly (very slightly) more depth however the NF coil is more stable and quieter so you’re able to targets easier.
Hey jenko, just wondering why you dont turn threshold on in the auto modes, its well documented that you loose signal response with no threshold, might be a better comparison. Great work mate, keep the videos coming.
Cheers mate. I just tried two manual settings and two auto settings purely to keep the video from being to long. I might do a dedicated video of the auto mode with and without a threshold. Thanks again for the suggestion.
Jenko that was a great test...what would make it better for me would have been testing the 12 in nugget finder on the 7000 on the same targets to see if the 7000 was better or not than the 6000...but still a great test
Great video Craig - pretty much as expected the 12x7 was never going to beat the 11" on depth, although seemed to run a little bit more stable. It would be worth trying the same with a 0.05, 0.1, 0.2 & 0.3 where I'd expect the NF to come out on top.
Well explained test Jenko. It looks like unless you need a narrow coil for tight spaces then you are not going to gain much for the money spent on the aftermarket coil. As mentioned earlier, you are wasting your time demonstraiting the auto settings without threshold.
Thx 4 sharing, I might be wrong but I think your 6 is playing up. I have never heard that noise from your speaker on mine, I don’t use headphones. I’m no expert but just thought to let you know
Hi Craig can you do you think you could do a comparison on the 5 grammar @ 200 using the 6000 and use the same using 7000 17x13 . As I believe we are walking over a lot of 5 grammars . I realise the 6000 is a killer on small stuff . I just thought it would give a different perspective for your viewers . On what they want to chase . Maurice
Yes it’s been back to Minelab. Just a high emi day with a storm brewing in the distance and very windy as mentioned. The NF was more stable then the gpx 11
@@jenkosgoldadventures , I'm my area, there seems to be a fair bit of larger gold, 1 to 7 grams pretty common, so might stick with 11" until they are not so common lol!
Just found your channel, love it, I like the 'real' style test bed as air testing is, well, testing in the air. I have a 5000 & was thinking of a 6000, not too sure anymore as your tests have shown detectors in action, it's all 'horses for courses' with detectors & not everything is as it seems, what would be good is a few different guys with their fav detectors, a large referee(to stop fights) & let 'em 'have at it' on your style of test bed, guaranteed to break some hearts.
Thats actually disappointing for both coils! With the original 11inch, I picked up 3.6 grams at 11 inches deep. That coil died and the replacement is not close to the original! With the NF 12x7 test coil, I got a 0.5gram bit at 8 inches (that one I gave to Logan, His test coil on his patch).
Great day out there fam. Loads of great info. Keep on having fun and living the dream. Gold Squad Out!!!
Thanks GS

Yes agree. I have only tested it so far hopefully get out into the goldfields soon. Pretty impressive so far.

Auto 1 and 2 if you press and hold the normal/hard ground button for a few seconds you get the threshold back on.
Yes

Can do mate thanks for watching and the feedback
Hi Jenco are you allowing for the angle on the pvc with the test depth? or added a bit on the test strip
Yes mate

Yes agree about the threshold in auto I don’t see the point
Round coils are best💪 try the 9" coitek round up against this eliptical be interesting????
Yes I have heard they are pretty good. Just a funding issue atm lol

@@jenkosgoldadventures that’s good glad it’s not your 6 hey👍

Gidday Maurice I’m editing a video with the NF 17x13 and the GPZ 17 atm hopefully have it up soon
Have you sent your 6000 in and had the speaker EMI issue fixed as it sounds like you haven't?
Yes it’s been back to Minelab. Just a high emi day with a storm brewing in the distance and very windy as mentioned. The NF was more stable then the gpx 11
Performance seems to be about the same really. Maybe the NF is a tad more stable.
Definitely more stable. So your are able to hear the target easier. I think with headphones it will be even better

I'm actually using the zed more atm, and I like the 17x13, I don't know what people expected, buts it's a good coil as far as I'm concerned.
@@topendgold9284 yes I did a test on the NF 17x13 yesterday with great results

Thanks Geoffrey thanks for subscribing. Yes the 6000 is a fantastic machine
@@jenkosgoldadventures 4500 or a 5000 would shit all over a 6000 with a 2grm nug at those depths,I'm finding
0.10grm at 50mm.
That's with a 4500

No threshold on off test. In manual and auto
Yes I’ll make a longer video with all the opinions soon
the coiltek coils shit on this coil
Yeah? I’ll have to try one one day
