The hype of this has returned now that stormblood was added to FT. As a free player, I've never been happier about this, stormblood is an amazing expansion that deserves all the praise.

After seeing Kugane for the first time at 3:15, everyone's all like "wow" but after that everyone goes silent, just taking it all in, until Yugiri and the climax of the song. Fantastic crowd.

Its incredible how they've added this into the critically acclaimed mmorpg called ffxiv's free trial that comes with Heavensward which means it's free upto level 70 and no restrictions on playtime.

I agree the characters in stormblood are the best. (I haven’t played sb or ew) Gosetsu and Yotsuyu were amazing and Zenos was mega thicc with personality and asstributes.

'Cause she doesn't look anything similar to her design from Heavensward/A Realm Reborn. At least, not until the very last cutscenes of Heavensward. There must've been theories about who she was or if she was even important.
For one...they thought she was a dancer and that SE had just revealed DNC in the trailer despite her clearly showing off monk moves lol Secondly, yeah they thought she was Yda without the mask mostly, but then people kept pointing to her lack of a scion mark on her neck. There was a lot of speculation.

I think the the trailer itself shows that the extension wasn't bringing the best of FF XIV, not introduction of the dangers and future ennemies, no explanation of context , just showing cool stuff Don't get me wrong, I like Stormblood, but I think it's the less cool of the three extensions, and Heavensward and Shadowbringers were already showing all their epicness in their trailers
The only thing I'm going to critisice abou this video is that the guy who recorded it was the one who was screaming louder here. If you want to record this, sadly you must resign to the feel for being hyped and screaming with the rest of the audience. Because if not, since you are gonna be the closer one to the microfone, your own screaming will be too loud and will cloud all other sounds on the area and it becomes annoying for the ones who will watch and see how the live reaction was. It may sucks that you have to remain quiet on a moment like this, but is something you must do if you are gonna record a live reaction, unless its your own reaction, but your own reaction only.

I actually wanted to shout in reaction, but the only thing I actually managed to say was the "Oh my fucking god" right before the samurai sliced the bullets. Every single other person you hear is the audience, and the point of the video was to capture their reaction.
Never said it was bad, all was good just expect for that brief moment. Haha..and I have seeing much worst, where the recorded screams so much that you barely hear anything of the audience or even the video. What I said is just an advice for your next recordings.
The way they did that samurai bit where are all the houses and buildings blew up was too over the top and they over dramatised it was really annoying for some reason and very misleading. I understand they were doing it for hype

It was not the best XIV expansion unfortunatly, but my God, this trailer was nice! Even after watching it so many years later, i still get thrills!
