Very illuminating and inspiring. I loved Audrey Hepburn growing up in the 50;s and 60;s. I love how she found her true calling in helping children in need worldwide.
My daughter and I so loved Audrey Hepburn, that she, my daughter, Marjorie, named her baby daughter after her, Audrey. When I met my granddaughter at the hospital right after she was born, my daughter said, Grammi, meet Audrey. I was thrilled. She kept it a secret until her baby was born. Knowing a baby born in 2023 was named Audrey in her honor warms my heart.
Audrey Hepburn's legacy should be set as an example to young generations of today. Human values, resilience and grace, these can be set forth as a good example.
A beautiful lady with amazing ability, elegance, grace, resilience. The world needs more Audrey Hepburns. Thanks to her children for perpetuating the humanitarian goodness of her endeavors'.
She was the individual who, aside from my amazing mother, and my friend Mother Teresa, truly represented an example of goodness and love. My mother showed this every day with her unending love, decency and brilliance. There are wonderful people in the world and they aren’t those who talk it a great deal.
I've always loved Audrey Hepburn. I remember going to the movies to see Breakfast at Tiffany's and thinking she had to be the most beautiful, elegant young woman I had ever seen. Here 63 years later she still is.❤
When the movie BREAKFAST AT TIFFANY's came out, this period of the United States was so unique! We had the greatest nation in the world! No illegal aliens barged in, this was our American nation and culture! We had crime, but not like today! Truman Capote was so damn a great a writer! In Cold Blood by Truman was chilling! I was only 8 years old when those horrible murders happened! Heartbreaking! Then a decade later The Sharon Tate murders/Leno La Bianca murders shocked the entire World!
It seems that way to me too 😢 I want to believe that somehow she was/is being treated justly with love and kindness! The love she deserves and gave no matter how difficult and unjust life seemed to treated her.. I wonder sometimes, would we be the same compassionate people without the heartaches?
When I was a teenage chub, I saw her in THE NUN'S STORY and, despite my dad's utter confusion, went on a diet. But as importantly, read about her interest in all other people. A true winner with total machismo!
So what can we learn from her experience is the healing of trauma it takes work and it takes a lot of love to find forgiveness for being abandoned. As this being her trauma she could’ve lived completely different life. We all have something to learn from this woman’s miraculous story.
"Shocking stories"? This story of Audrey Hepburn isn't shocking, it's inspiring. I've been in love with her since the 1950s! I'd still be now if she were still alive. Long live her precious memory !!!
Audrey Hepburn had beauty of character. She had right motives and right character. I have seen this care for others in her son Sean Hepburn Ferrar also. In a world that often even lacks civility she could teach much. In a world that often thrives on competition rather than cooperation she could teach much. It is difficult to believe that she lived through the worst battle of World War 2 in Arnhem, Holland when looking at her dazzling smile. So many people have used such traumas to never smile again-- to project bitterness & self-pity. She was one of a kind. Sorry if name icon comes up 2x. Some sort of computer glitch,
WHY DO YOU KEEP REPEATING THE SAME ISSUES OVER AND OVER...? LIKE YOU ARE READING THE SCRIPT TWICE AND THE ADS ...VERY INAPPROPRIATE, HONOURING AN EXTRAORDINARY HUMA BEEING WITH DEGRADING ,CHEAP ADVERTISEMENTS. SHAME !!!
I agree with you about repeating the script... The ads, however, are not their fault. Every TH-cam channel with many subscribers is a commercial enterprise, so TH-cam puts ads everywhere. Unfortunately, the only way to avoid them is to pay TH-cam

Such a beautiful and iconic lady. She was so much more than an actress, a true humanitarian.

How unfair that the selfless lovely woman was stricken with cancer!
It seems that way to me too 😢 I want to believe that somehow she was/is being treated justly with love and kindness! The love she deserves and gave no matter how difficult and unjust life seemed to treated her.. I wonder sometimes, would we be the same compassionate people without the heartaches?

God bless you, Audrey! You'll never be forgotten!
Amazing portrayal wonderful and so beautifully presented! Thank I will look into the children's book,
To be born pretty is a matter of luck. To be celebrated for the beauty of one's character, heart, and work on behalf of others is true accomplishment.
