Protech TR3 Auto everyday carry pocket knife

I’ve carried mine all day every day for well over 12 years. It’s been to the factory twice for service, after the action slowed down. They’ve cleaned/serviced and sharpened with quick turnaround. I finally bought a second one in case they ever stop making it. This time with a safety, not that I’ve ever needed one. Best EDC I’ve ever carried.

I’m a fan of Protech knives. I’ve got a Newport and a PT+. Hope to get a TR3 soon, love the fish scales too.

I bought a couple of Pro-Techs last month (December 2022). A TR-3 X1 SW and a Godson. The TR-3 looks more like an all-rounder. The Godson, especially the one I purchased (black on black), just looks mean. In terms of practicality, the TR-3 is the one. I also love the fish scale handle.

Probably the load out. Might have different button, clip, or some other cosmetic difference. 👍
