Honouring Sergeant Leka Phillip Maja

Sergeant Leka Phillip Maja, who was stationed at the Tactical Operational Management Section (TOMS) under the Directorate for Priority Crime Investigation, was born on 9 September 1982. Tragically, he lost his life at the age of 40 on Thursday, 8 June 2023, due to murder. He was married and had three children, the youngest of whom was one year old at the time of his passing. Sergeant Maja joined the South African Police Service on 14 July 2008, serving the communities of South Africa with dedication for 14 years.
