I was forced to retire at 18 years in 2020, and bought my 17’ FXDLS new with a surprise VA backpay check that showed up on my birthday haha. Are you at north island? I’m actually riding my FXDLS alone from Sacramento to S.D. In the next month or so. My brother, who enlisted the same day as I did, and is now a C-5 pilot, just bought a 22’ LRS in gunmetal grey. He’s riding there to meet me from Fort Worth so we can spread my dads ashes in the bay off of north island. He obviously was prior military, decorated cobra pilot in Vietnam plus 20 additional years, and he grew up there as a kid. After that we’re cruising the coast back up to S.F. and home from there. Good to see you guys are back. I have watched your videos since the first week I had my bike. I have a lot of the same mods, and actually just finished swapping the lifters and pushrods.

Hey Lego, Great update and thanks for all the video’s ya’ll put out. I love the new bar and riser setup. Can you confirm which set of Big Al’s bars you have? They make a “low low bar” with 2.5” rise that is 28” wide and a “low bar” with 3.5” rise and is 30” wide. I am leaning toward the low low bar because of the closer hand grip but I am worried that is will be too low with a 6” riser (8.5” total rise). Let me know you thoughts on the width of your hand position as well with the new setup if you don’t mind…
Hey bro I’m 5’8” I went with the low low bars 8.5” rise overall with my setup and big als risers it’s comfortable for me and I can ride aggressive in the canyon with them

I got the same bike as you and there’s not that many “how to” videos with the Dyna low rider s besides your channel. Either way, love the channel man
@@justout27 for that specifically dynas 06-17 were all almost identical so u can get by removing a wheel and brakes with some of these other guys videos we try to do videos that aren’t already out there. But u can always hit us up if u run into issue 🤘🏽
You condition your seat… I have a Lucky Dave’s I bought used from a friend and it started cracking between the stitches. Also what happened to the fairing you had on the LS
Just fitted some 14inch shocks and had to remove the rear passenger pegs..they were sitting right on the exhaust (Vance and Hines upsweep) have you had any issues with the foot peg hitting the exhaust muffler..
My current exhaust no but some exhausts will have clearances issues cause the swing arm angle after the tall shocks also check your primary if u have a chain it’s probably contacting
@@dynademos brand new isolators.. I’ve asked around in some Facebook Dyna groups and they say same thing and now that I look the rear tire looks to be sitting closer to on side than the other? So i would say probably not aligned
@@ethanwoods329 vibration could be so many things it could be as simple as the stiffer isolators are just making you notice the vibration of the bike more cause it’s sending it up through your bars are u getting a wobble at all?
@@ethanwoods329 oh man could be so many things if u have spokes check the spokes could be loose. Neck bearings get overlooked a lot. I’ve heard of drive train alignments throwing that off as well honestly is just be throwing things out but I’d start small and work your way up to the bigger things till she rides like a dream incorrect suspension can cause it
I got a dyna street bob, plain paint, no graphics just one color, longer shocks mono tube kit in fork, little fairing. From ENC and most HD dealers just ignore me but I'm over it
Just so everyone knows. The headlights that moonsmc sells are the exact same ones from Amazon. They just laser etch their logo on them and sell them for double the price. Someone on the inside gave me that info.
Oh and I have just purchased and 09 Dyna Super Glide that has low miles and a 96" and your channel is full of great tips and mods.

Damn 14.5 for a fxdls with 3k you got a steal. I just bought one with 3k for 18.5 with most of the same mods you have and thought I got a fair deal.

I put the SE 110 tire shredder kit on my 2011 street bob.....(106hp 122tq) worth every bit of 5k. Curious what your low rider makes in comparison.

Yeah I condition my seats keep that leather fresh also garage stored helps. And got rid of it rocking no fairing

How tall are you? Can’t decide whether 13 or 14” shocks for my dyna fxdl im 5’8” and don’t plan to raise the front at all

What it like with those 14” shocks at your height? I’m about as tall as you and trying to pick a length for the rear of my bike.
If you don’t wear boots u will tip toe or one leg it backing up sucks lol
