How can anyone make fun of a person with a disease and the associated side-effects? HOW? The lack of empathy in this world is unbelievable. People are just not able to put themselves in someone else's shoes. Imagine having a good figure and being slender, being diagnosed and gaining weight and on top of all that, having people mock you...!? Despicable!

As a person who suffers from an autoimmune disease as well, Crohn's disease, these meds are harsh. Biologics take a huge toll on the body and create unwanted side effects. I applaud Selena for getting up every day and facing life. Sometimes it's the hardest thing in the world to do.
Unless you have suffered with the unwanted effects of auto immune inflamation then you have no idea. you can go to bed as one person and wake up a complete other person.
Whats wonderful about her is she has since day 1 of having real influence, has championed for young ppl to love themselves no matter how you look AND was always against bullying online.

It shouldn’t matter how much weight someone might’ve gained or lost, as long as their health isn’t affected or compromised through poor health decisions. I will be honest, most men claim that it’s all her and that she’s the crazy one. The majority of the time it’s the man who treats the women like crap first, yet rarely take the blame for how they treated the woman first. I’m saying this from both hindsight and personal experiences. I’m guilty of being inconsiderate towards the one I love, for doing nothing more then trying to be a good friend/ partner. The only thing that should matter is your health, not how you look in a dress.
I’m diabetic so I know about the weight gain. My medication does the same thing I’m so fluffy but still beautiful and so are you❤

Fractures is also a side effect of taking corticosteroids. That’s part of lupus treatment. She recently fractured her wrist.

Out of that entire forest full of leaves, one single small tree is equal to the amount of people who feel the need to throw their attacks towards this beautiful soul. The rest of the forest stands behind and beside her. Love and support throughout. No matter what. The bullies better wake up and pray nothing bad ever happens to them or someone they love. I clicked on this video because of the caption saying Charlie slams Justin for weight shaming Selena and that what I wanted to see I wanted to hear from him and it was a 2 sec clip and then rest was everything I’ve heard and watched a million times! I have four autoimmune disorders and they are no joke. One left me crippled for months. Be kind to people - you don’t know how badly some of us suffer behind closed doors.

That's why I got off the diabetic meds and seizure meds because CYFD used it against my parenting. And I will never have any agency who can't even hold themselves accountable tell me what I should feel for my princesses who are my whole world 🌎💋

@@RedRias well, I've managed without the medication but it's not easy. Also because Medicaid kept playing games with whether I had insurance or not. I told myself ok I'm done with this. So I laid in bed shaking for six months and got through the withdrawals and survived.

Speaking personally from having a chronic illness in top of a broken back. With constant pain ALL day. I went from 115 lbs to 215. I'm currently at 196 but losing weight while taking these meds is harsh. My ex husband left me when I started gaining weight saying I was fat and ugly. It definitely hurts especially when you try not to gain weight. Stress will cause you to gain as well. Having an Autoimmune Disease is so awful. I wouldn't wish this on my worst enemy. I started getting fat shamed at 120 lbs. I can't imagine what ppl think now. I just try to do my best and not worry about the rest as my Dad would say. I try to love myself even if others don't, and show love to others.

I suffer with an autoimmune condition and unfortunately steroids are often used to quell your symptoms. The side effects are a “moon face” which is basically a very rounded swollen looking face and weight gain. It’s water weight but I tend to gain it in my stomach. As soon as I stop, the weight falls off. I’m sure Selena is dealing with the same thing. She is so sweet in a world of hate. Love her! ❤
I think the way Justin acts is like a spoiled child. So, he can sing big whoop! Other then that he has not talent or manners. He like women who are skinny sticks with no to little personality. And, no business sense. Selena was the best he will every have or get and he messed that up. But, if he really loved her and deserved her he would never treat her bad and would have stood by her in sickness and health. I feel sorry for Hailey if she ever get's sick, fat or old she will be replaced.

One obvious thing not being discussed, is the changes that many females bodies goe though as she matures from adolecense into adulthood. Aside from the meds for lupus she had a kidney transplant , and will have to take antirejection medications for the rest of her life. Honestly I hope she finds her peace, and happiness. However that comes about.
