- In this video I build a simple bow saw. The cost was very low - the wood scraps cost nothing, the saw blade € 5. 🪚🪵🪚🪵🪚
The angle of the saw blade can be tilted, for a better view of the cut when sawing. You can completely disassemble the saw, so you can take it camping or bushcrafting. It's best to do this with an extra saw blade.
The project was really fun and the kids also like to use it to saw off their hazelnut sticks. I have another great tool that doesn't require electricity!

Iam wondering can saw be made taller? So middle bracket go up more?
Yes of course! As long as you can keep everything stable. In my case, it was the wood scraps that determined the dimensions of my saw! I'm currently building another saw, a smaller one, where the middle section will be relatively higher. There will be a video about it.

What size did the old masters use? The Howarth saw is about 10" of height. I'd bet saws you find un museums would show the most practical.

Where did you buy the saw blade? How many teeth per centimeter or inch?
There are approximately 7 teeth per centimeter. The brand of the saw blade is Krone, available in Austria and Germany. The saw blade is nothing special, there are certainly better ones.
Rad. But I think for a blade so wide the arms need to be wider so you can get more tension. Idk. Works as it is.
