I have a very large piece of this in my bedroom as a centre piece (bought it because it was a very pretty). Had no idea I could use this to cleanse myself. Thank you for the great video.

I've read a lot of articles saying Selenite is the ultimate self-cleansing stone, so I wonder is cleansing it still necessary?

They are similar in some ways but also very different. Quartz crystal is consider a master healing crystal and can do more than selenite.

Thank you! I like to charge the selenite in the full moon light but I will also charge it in the sun for 20-30min. Short periods of time in the sun also work well. Even indirect sunlight can work too. Some people will charge the selenite in places of nature by setting the stone on the ground in a garden, beach, forest...etc to let the beautiful energies of the earth and nature charge the stone :)

selenite is the crystal depicted in pictures of angels. the wands are also called jesus' wands. I have come closer to God and His son Jesus through selenite. I sleep with one under my pillow and have had prophetic dreams. blessings and peace!

+Crystal Healing so what I did last night was put a wand on my back while sitting , two red Jaspers under my feet, two black tourmaline in my left and blue kyanite in my right. Instantly felt really centered .

People keep saying that Selenite is self-cleansing and can even cleanse other gemstones. What do you think about that, dear Christa?
Hi! Even though selenite is said to be self cleansing, I cleanse all of my selenite anyway. I cleanse all of my crystals because not only does it cleanse the unwanted energies, it helps to refresh the crystal too.

You're welcome! Thanks for watching the videos :) Yes, you can work with selenite in that way. I find 2 stones more powerful for that: blue kyanite and faden quartz :) Those are fun crystals to work with for sending messages to people.

So I live in a house I shared with my sister , she passed away from cancer on 11th July her battle was not very long but hard it was aggressive and I am sensitive to the atmosphere in the house , I am moving everything around spring cleaning the house trying to make it my own and want to move into her old bedroom , I have 10 selenite pieces like little wands coming also some obsidian and hematite . Do the pieces have to big crystals to make a lot of difference or can smaller stones be as powerful , I want to cleanse the whole house and myself of any stagnant negative energy so any help regarding what's best to use would be gratefully received .

Selenite can be used for that but an even better stone is black obsidian since it cuts chords, purifies the aura, restores balance, is protective and grounding.

Luci Bloom There are crystals and grids that completely remove Hooks. Like Diamond. However the diamond is simply too dangerous, because it focuses energy kind of like laser, hence it can happen to cut the whole meridian, or even ruptures an internal organ. But a safe, almost exactly equally powerful alternative is, Kunzite. Many spiritual workers use them to unhook and cut cords. I dress my own with a little bit of "Cut and clear" oil, which is of course entirely optional.
You can also make a grid using Amethyst and either Ghost Quartz or Howlite. to cut cords , remove hooks and also attached entities.

Luci Bloom Yes, hooks need to be removed as well. Chords can be removed with obsidian and the hooks dissolved with selenite. That combination can be good.

You're welcome :) In some cultures amethyst was used as a sobriety stone. Black onyx and tiger eye were considered stones to curb additive tendencies. These stones were best used worn on the body of the person. :)

During this video I realized I had a Selenite wand down my shirt already! It helps me to breathe up that white bright ROAD to Wise Mind, purifying everything along the way up and down. Part of my DBT group . Instinctive!

Best not to cleanse selenite in water because yes, it can dissolve. Putting selenite in the 4 corners of the room is nice to keep the room clear of unwanted energies and fill the room with light and positive energies!

Thanks for taking the time. I just bought one piece like 3" of selenite at the store. They told me to use it to clean and recharge my bracelets. now that I learned a new way to use it, do I have to buy more pieces and dedicate one for cleaning my cfrystals and other for my aura, etc..? I see they have on Ebay like 3 pounds for $12 so it is not expensive. Thanks
Saxoguy2010 Good question! You can use the same piece of selenite for all of those purposes. It's good to cleanse it before using it for those different purposes.

This is great. My friend gave me a Selenite wand, but didn't know how to use. I travel temples and shrines many times with this Selenite wand, but still didn't know how to use. Now I understand. Thank you very much for the teaching! I feel more close to this Selenite.

i new in crystal healing and i just wanted ask a question
why is it's so important to imagine a crystal is healing us weather imaging it cleansimg our arua or imaging a white light cleansing us ? is it necessary to imagine?

I've heard Selenite can be used to heal the spine, and correct deformities of spin. I was wondering what are Your experiences about it? Also what are some other good choices for healing and straightening the spine and spinal cord? Spinel, Carnelian, perhaps ? :) Maybe You could make a video on that :)

miloradvlaovic Yes, selenite can be used for the spine. Also, some stones that have been traditionally used for the spine and alignment are: fuchsite, hematite, azurite, carnelian, garnet, tiger's eye, emerald. Good results have been seen combining these stones with other forms of treatment for a holistic approach.

For some people, they combine amethyst with a grounding stone such as black tourmaline. Or, instead of amethyst you could try scolecite which is also good for sleep but not as activating as amethyst. Some people can be sensitive to amethyst and it can give them lucid dreams making it harder to sleep. So in that case, working with scolecite is better.

what are the selenite towers used for?
It provides protection, angelic consciousness, channeling the highest wisdom, an essential crystal used in Feng Shui (balance) and is an all around emotional cleanser. You can set any intention with it. I grid my windows with small 3" pieces on the sills for protection that I purchased in bundles. I have several towers some with and without lights as they absorb any and all negativity within the rooms they sit. It will cleanse any other stone, crystal and jewelry you own by placing them on it. POWERFUL! I can't get enough of it! Hope that helps💫
