I broke up.with my ex fiance the first day he slapped me, Iisten I exited that toxic relationship without hesitation, as old as I am I have never seen my dad laying his hands on my mom, I can never allow someone's child to turn me into a punching bag, no meta how good you are in bed, my happiness comes first , let's normalize walking out ladies, let's learn to.be supportive to one another and remind each other of how beautiful we are every single day,we are tired Jong 9

Yooo thank you. I stayed for 15 years in a loveless marriage because I was afraid what people would say. Most importantly my fellow church members. Until it affected my health. I filled for divorce. It is not worth it to be in a toxic marriage. I don't care about people anymore. The pressure we get from the community is so bad. We should stop laughing n gossiping about people when they come back from a failed marriage. I am now fixing myself n my life. I was not happy for 15 years imagine. I pray that God give me another 15 years of happiness n educating other women about self worth n self love.

Very powerful message about self-forgiveness. I beat myself up on a daily basis about my baby's dad and how I wish I never got involved with him. After watching this, I'm going to try and work towards forgiving myself and letting go of what I can't change. Thank you, Clara, for sharing your story 🙏🙏

It’s important for us to not base our worth and validation as human beings in being married, the worst thing that could happen to you is not divorce, even death is not the worst thing that could happen to you! Learn who you are, love who you are off the fact that you’re human made in the most perfect image.

Wow... I'm glad finally God broke through and you left.. I've never been in an abusive relationship emotionally or physically, infact since I was young I told myself my dad has never lifted his hand on me so I put it in myself that no man was permitted to either.. I have a friend that was in an abusive relationship both physically and emotionally, and I got her out j just told her leave this person they had been dating over 10 years.. I introduced her to Christ, it took some time but she eventually finally left and now engaged to a wonderful man..

Shucks, this is why emotional intelligence is as important as spiritual intelligence. So glad you left that toxic marriage & that God is restoring all that the locust has eaten.
Destiny killers are also found in the church, we must be careful & vigilant. "Be sober, be vigilant, because the devil walketh about as a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour." 1 Peter 5:8, the one who kills, steals & destroys never plays fair, we pray daily of wisdom & discernment.
