Dude, that's a great idea. You know Dan's problem that he is too much inside his own head instead of where he should be relaxed and let things play out organically.
Bonde’s face through all of this is magic, his expressions had me rolling. It made me think back to the video where Dan said to Bonde, “wouldn’t it be sweet if we did this stunt holding hands” and Bonde’s face just looked like wtf would we do that 😂😂😂😂
DAN!! I actually met you in Wisco at a cheer camp back in 2015. I don't know if you'd remember me but, I had the HUGEST CRUSH on you back then. Y'all's videos popped up on my TH-cam a little while ago and it's been a crazy blast from the past. I'm happy to see that you're still cheering and you didn't let the small town Wisconsin mindset sway you from doing what you're passionate about! 💛
This was absolutely amazing! I was laughing so hard I couldn’t breathe for most of the video😂 Can’t imagine how much gold we missed cause Bonde’s mic cut out. I think we’re all eagerly waiting for updates on how the FORD method works out😅
Your videos ARE meaningful!! They are entertaining and give people a reason to smile and laugh. Some times a funny video could be the best medicine on a bad day... that holds a Lot of meaning!
“For us to feel more comfortable in the sport, there’s gotta be more straight guys.” If you can’t be secure within yourself, then the issue doesn’t exist within the context you think it does. You have to be willing to work on your own insecurity or doubt and be careful not to let it start to cloud your choices and hurt other people.
Yeah, he just needs to kind of flip that. A gay person going into a predominantly straight sport like football or basketball? How do they feel? How would it be for them to say there needs to be more gay people in the sport? lol
Oh my God, I'm laughing so hard I'm crying! On one side i wonder why Dan feels like sharing that fact that he is not good with girls would help him get good with girls, on the other hand it's interesting that being among girls for so many years, throwing and catching them casually, and it's still possible that a guy doesn't develop the skills to talk to woman
At least in their videos he doesn’t really talk to the flyers, at least not very casually. He seems to have the “women are a different species” mindset. He can joke with the other bases (aka why he wants them to be straight dudes) but feels the need to put on a performance around the women or otherwise avoid them altogether. If he treated the flyers, and women in general including women he was into, more like he treated his friends he would already know how to talk to them. Like people lol.

A wholeeeee lot to unpack in this episode. I would say you will always have problems until you fix the true issue within yourself first. No matter how masculine you are or others are that's on the team, if you aren't confident in yourself and in your own sexuality then gays and those not "masculine in the sport will always seem to be a problem for you. All sports or activities have people of all orientations, the thing is yes Cheerleading has it's stereotypes, but if that is the road you chose to travel it just comes with the territory and you have to grow strong in your own confidence and sexuality. I mean this is the nicest way(and I can tell you guys won't be easily offended) but you could do with working on your emotional intelligence. I think Dan's going after the wrong girls. He needs to go after a confident nerdy girl who understands awkwardness. I can see him trying to walk up to one of these Club girls who are dripping in Gucci and Louis Vuitton and bombing with them, but a cute cosplayer might understand his love for anime & get that he's kinda awkward. Dan and Bonde are literally the best bromance ever. They need a masculine GBF that just thinks they are hilarious and they bond on bro stuff and is as hot or hotter than both of them, so he’s just not interested in straight dudes and not interested in getting accosted by gay dudes, so they keep him safe, but he’s a great wingman, so he can teach Dan and get him a girlfriend. Because Dan’s not bad. He’s just deeply clueless like, if I was a Florida boy, me and Bonde would be the Cher and Dionne (I’m single. I love how real and open yall are thru these podcast and it shows ur personality and character. I love it man ! Also as a bi/ gay i tend to internal thoughts and i realize for a straight man yall have to put forth everything for a girl . Mean your life , sacrifice time , effort , impress them to like you , money , sex u name it, and girls don’t have to be or do much to get a girl as long as they put out , look pretty , or even laugh / giggle at a guy joke. As a gay man we tend to look for an interest in each other physically and we know that we will support each other financially when we find the right partner and we don’t have to worry about that like yall do . Just a thought that maybe yall can research or tap into . You don’t have to lol .
I know I’m stating my opinion while watching your videos but like I don’t understand why most female think all male cheerleaders are gay . Like can’t an attractive guy be in cheer that is straight …. Annoyed with all the stereotyping bs out there .
Yeah that gay discussion sounded pretty homophobic... Maybe if you try to get to know the gay guys you might not feel so uncomfortable. I'm a gay man and half of my closest friends are straight men, and we relate perfectly fine... in fact I think they often prefer to hang around me than others. Sometimes in life it pays for you to realise that you can actually open your mind to things you're uncomfortable with.
@@greatwesternskylolol that was the perfect response to that clearly homophobic human. I found this video and this commenter to be pretty upsetting… I’m a straight women, and both of my lifelong women best friends actually both ended up being queer, and the idea that things all of a sudden would become different or weird after they realized their sexuality and let me in to that info, is honestly just nonsensical to me. It straight up just doesn’t compute. Toxic masculinity can really warp many men’s brains, particularly straight men, seemingly
Here’s some advice…ford method is dogshit in real life. At least for me, just get to the point. Be your authentic self Dan. Preferably don’t use your judgemental/uninterested face. just speaking from the vibe you naturally give off you’re charismatic use that. Don’t overthink it. Don’t behave like you just suffered a brain injury. My real question is where the heck is Jeff in all this…your boy needs a wingman. I say we just blame Jeff for the losses in Dans love life 🤷♀️ lol 😂 there’s my solution.
It kind of offended me a little. Dan speaks like gay guys can't be masculine. I know a ton that are masculine, and I am one of them. I bet I am more masculine than him. Gay does not mean your femmine and being str8 does not mean you are masculine. Dan sounds more and more borderline homaphobic. I like the content, but perhaps he needs more gay friends so he can become more educated.
Or you could be overly sensitize and not really hearing what’s being said and attributing what was said to yourself and your experiences. I give you that at times the fellas get close to the edge but I’ve never felt anything said here is mean spirited or cruel, just perhaps said from a place of not knowing a lot of lgbtq people, but that itself is an assumption. We don’t know who they know or what their experiences are, as a man who is gay, nothing said here hit my trigger or made the hairs on my neck stand up or I’d say but throwing the homophobe title around on people does make me uncomfortable. I don’t like labels, on myself or placed on others. People are individuals and I judge them on their experiences on a subject. Having “a” gay friend isn’t going to help anyone understand me, it just means they have a friend that is gay, it doesn’t mean they know me, my experiences or my story. Dan is speaking from his experiences with gay individuals in his surroundings from where he comes from, in cheerleading. That doesn’t cover every lgbtq person on earth.
i sounded (and to be fair somewhat looked like dan just bigger and taller) at 24 (also had a "friend" similiar to bondie). I said and did a lot of homophobic things being from a conservative family before realising it was all internalised and was why i hated myself. He seems like he is going through some stuff
I think if you feel uncomfortable around gay ppl in your sport, then the goal should be to work on that and not having to bring more straight guys in. Its of course very valid wanting to have the right group of ppl around that you click with but this sounded a bit off the way you phrased it.
Yeah, he just needs to kind of flip that. A gay person going into a predominantly straight sport like football or basketball? How do they feel? How would it be for them to say there needs to be more gay people in the sport? lol
Yeah, I'm a gay male dancer living in Wisconsin (Where Dan's originally from), and a lot of male dancers quit the sport because they're afraid of being thought of as gay. But making the sport more "masculine" by getting more straight guys into it doesn't fix the problem (the homophobia). It just buries it and makes people like me feel bad about who we are. IMO, what we actually need is to become more comfortable with allowing femininity in sports and to stop bullying people that embrace their feminine side regardless of whether they're a guy or girl, gay or straight etc.
This has nothing to do with homophobia. It's about getting rid of a stigma in order to make a sport more popular. I'm a male nurse and I remember as a child being a nurse was considered a "job for women" because there were only very few men doing this job, and a lot of them were very feminine. Over the years more and more men became nurses to a point where it mostly lost this stigma and now has become a more popular job decision among every gender race and orientation. That is a good thing.
@vihta545 I'm sorry to disagree, but I think there's still a layer of internalized homophobia at play here. Dan says that he was trying to get more guys into the sport, and immediately after, he says that he went to Florida, where there were more masculine guys like him. In other words, he went to an area where masculine male cheerleaders already were. That does nothing to add male cheerleaders in the places where they are lacking. If you water a plant that has already been watered and ignore the plant that's dry, you're not fixing the problem, you're escaping it. Wanting to remove a stigma is admirable, and that might be what he wants on some level, but that's not what happened here. It would be more effective to be "the masculine straight guy" who does cheer in the area where that's unheard of, so that other straight guys can see that and realize that it's for them too, rather than just leave for an area that already doesn't have that stigma just so you don't have to be around the gay guys.
Dan: I still haven't learned anything from this podcast!🤥 Bondee: Yup🤔 No offense Dan but .......maybe next time you go on a date consider writing that FORD acronym on your palm to be safe. And keep that hand dry.
Dan seems like a nice guy; he would benefit from a friend who could act like a dating coach for him, though, based only upon this podcast. Film the consultation for the podcast, an outfit try on haul like the 90s movies, then cut to the next day where Dan recounts his endeavors with Bonde and the coach. Role play and workshop the scenarios. It would be fun. Heck, I'd do it 😂
Your main channel videos and podcasts are great. Have you thought about putting a gopro camera (or similar) on the flyers to get more perspectives in the videos? I think some POV content could a cool addition!

are any of thé actually gay though?
@@simplyeason DUH!
Lmao you never had a best bro before?
@@Minecraftisbeast47 oh yeah, they are best bros alright, wink, wink. And ur an idiot.
woaw dan is a child, this is great, showing vulnerability is the best a man can do to be trusted being worthy of.
No fear in getting canceled, I love it! Stay real
exactly!!
So awkward 😂 I can't figure out if you are for real or exagerating everything 😂
Laughed a lot keep posting, feels good watching 2 friends do same crazy talk we friends do here.
Or just sometimes it is better not to cry because people have a different opinion:)
I known is hard, to tolerate that, but do-able
@@Ali-coder92 "Different opinion" = I am uncomfortable with someone with a different sexual orientation to me
@@Ali-coder92 you could listen to your own advice ☺
@@greatwesternskylolol that was the perfect response to that clearly homophobic human. I found this video and this commenter to be pretty upsetting… I’m a straight women, and both of my lifelong women best friends actually both ended up being queer, and the idea that things all of a sudden would become different or weird after they realized their sexuality and let me in to that info, is honestly just nonsensical to me. It straight up just doesn’t compute. Toxic masculinity can really warp many men’s brains, particularly straight men, seemingly
He’s a little confused
Dan and Bonde need to be in stand-up comedy😂
I do really think that we shouldn’t take anything serious from this podcast 😅
What? You mean Dan isn't bi?@@BrunaSantos-ye1yn
@@raymorales9751😂😂😂
i sounded (and to be fair somewhat looked like dan just bigger and taller) at 24 (also had a "friend" similiar to bondie). I said and did a lot of homophobic things being from a conservative family before realising it was all internalised and was why i hated myself. He seems like he is going through some stuff
I just wanna see these two kiss 😂
I think if you feel uncomfortable around gay ppl in your sport, then the goal should be to work on that and not having to bring more straight guys in. Its of course very valid wanting to have the right group of ppl around that you click with but this sounded a bit off the way you phrased it.
Exactly. He’s admitting to blatant homophobia without knowing that’s what he’s admitting to…
Yeah, he just needs to kind of flip that.
The video with the foam roller was actually good. Don't say it's pointless! That was fun hahaha. Saw it on Patreon
Did they stop doing these? These talks are amazing:(
It will continue don’t worry!
Is there any one they did not offend

No offense Dan but .......maybe next time you go on a date consider writing that FORD acronym on your palm to be safe. And keep that hand dry.
Hanging out with you guys made me dumber, but I’m happy about it. Lol.

I am from Nebraska 😂😂 thank you very much. It is pretty boring
New Podcast Episode, please. The last one was so long ago.
Bonde needs to set up a speed dating session for Dan. For sure film that! 😂😂😂
Back for a rewatch…my favorite part of the episode!!😂❤🎉 47:25
Dan, How many female employees do you ask out before you have to visit your HR manager.
😅
Dan seems like a nice guy; he would benefit from a friend who could act like a dating coach for him, though, based only upon this podcast. Film the consultation for the podcast, an outfit try on haul like the 90s movies, then cut to the next day where Dan recounts his endeavors with Bonde and the coach. Role play and workshop the scenarios. It would be fun. Heck, I'd do it 😂
this is pure comedy 😂
Your main channel videos and podcasts are great. Have you thought about putting a gopro camera (or similar) on the flyers to get more perspectives in the videos? I think some POV content could a cool addition!
Can someone please tell me where that intro music is from? I recognize it from somewhere and it is driving me crazy. Btw, i enjoy the podcast for when i am driving.
