We have a very large thrift store near my home with sales every week. By color, three colors are 25% 50% and 75% off. They have 4 colors so it’s only the just brought out merchandise that is not on sale. If you are lucky and wait, it will definitely go on sale. My favorite place to thrift for myself and eBay.
Hi Ann. You had me laughing after you ate a bite of cookie and then said "Let me cleanse my palate". Boy have I miss you. I had surgery on my neck twice and just now starting to feel better. The first surgery the doctor messed it up and was in more pain than if I didn't have it done. The second surgeon fixed everything and feeling better but fell twice in the shower and once in the street walking to the bus. What a mess!!! I can laugh now because I can't imagine how it looked falling over nothing but air. Everytime I fall outside of my home no one ever stops and ask if I'm OK. Come to think of it when I fall in my own home no one is here to ask me that either. Lol. Hope all is well with you, the puppies, and your brother. You are always in my prayers. Surgery getting messed up is not good. Also I can't believe people will not help you. I always go over to someone if they've fallen or tripped. Weird world we live in, although I have run into many kind people when I'm out.
@waitforit5146 I had a total knee replacement too. I fell a couple of times after it too. Where I was living at the least the people came over to me and helped me up and then asked if I was OK. I know all to well about the crazies out there. The only time I leave my place is a doctors appointment or vet appointment. Way to many people outside. Thank you saying I was strong person. Nice compliment
@sustainfem I would always go over to someone if they fell. I also hold doors open if someone is coming in or going out. I also lend a arm if I see a senior and in need of help. My parents raised me with manners
I bought myself a chocolate blue bunny sundae at the grocery store for a treat (I have not tried them before) they were so good, I also bought a vintage made in Japan Black Poodle ceramic pen holder at the thrift store this week, and I am doing good not going crazy with garden seeds (because I bought so many last fall)...I hope to make it the rest of the month with just buying groceries and things for my cat...except for my car repair it has been a low buy month for me
Congrats on your new book! Being a picky eater is a hot topic for those raising children. Kids don't even try it, if it looks weird they don't want it. I did read your book, it was very cute and informative. I wonder how it would go for you writing in prose instead of poetry? When I read to my grandchildren, I appreciate a smaller amount of text. But you're the expert, maybe poetry just does better.
I am going to buy all your Pug books. I am a Pug lover too. We had a black Pug named Brutus. He was the most loving dog. He also wore a belly band because he had some incontinence issues. Love Pugs so much.
I am the keeper of the family punch bowl. My mom got it in 1966 with her green stamps lol. I used it for a church event laat year. Before that it had been used for my cousins baby shower and the baby turned 23 today.
I work at a university and our event catering department has the best oatmeal raisin cookies. Whenever i place an order i always request them. They dont provide them with their usual assorted platter.
My grandson said that illustration was our dog Peaches. She would rather have the chews instead of the bones. Shes only 2 and a half so she can eat the harder treats
