My biggest concern is how much we faded in the second half and couldn't maintain our intensity. That, for me is the root cause of the lost points. I also think that the two youngsters were looking rather overawed by the occasion and that it wasn't realistically in Ange's plans to use them that much in this game. It was obvious to me that Solanke hasn't bedded into the system yet, but others such as Udogie, Son and Johnson certainly underperformed in rather alarming fashion. As we saw in the first half, when the system works, it DOES work, but at the same time it is dependent on everybody performing to the same level. That didn't happen in that second half. The bollocking Vicario gave to Bergvall was well-deserved and I was glad to see it. This young man has to learn very quickly that the PL is a very different animal to the one he has been playing in up until now. If he wants minutes, he has to earn them. I just hope it doesn't break his confidence, because he did show some flashes, even if not enough. The draw, though disappointing and much of our own doing, is not season defining. As players bed in more, we will improve.

all my life i I'm watching football bro why these guys afraid of cross the ball in to the box son was so so poor every ball him get him turn it back to maddeson Janson udogie pedro farro can't cross the ball wast full .
Son can't be a captain. He's not vocal enough. The team needed a captain to motivate the players for the win. None of the players really wanted to win. No risk takers. Kulu was the prime example of really going for the win but Ange didn't start him.
Unfortunately, when Son Heung-min has a dip in form, some Tottenham fans, particularly among the English supporters, are quick to criticize him. They might question whether he is fit to be the captain, especially since he's a foreign player in the Premier League. Expectations have risen since he became the team captain, so any mistakes or poor performances are often met with greater disappointment. However, Son has been a key contributor to the team for many years and consistently performs at a high level. Despite the criticism from some fans, he continues to demonstrate his leadership qualities within the team, and he has the support of many teammates and fans. In football, it's important to recognize that no player is perfect, and there will be moments of poor form. Ultimately, a true leader is someone who can guide the team through difficult times, and Son Heung-min has the potential to prove his value in that regard.
@@ascenery1460 It's not about him being foreign; it's about the application he doesn't have. Similarly, Kane also doesn't have it. Both of them are very quiet and aren't vocal when it matters. Perhaps it's different in the changing room, but on the field, neither of them has shown they’re captain material, especially when the team is behind. When the team wins, Son is good at praising the players and putting them in the spotlight, but when the team is down, he doesn't fire them up. He only speaks about being disappointed afterward, but he should have pushed the team to try and get the win during the game. Vicario, Højbjerg, and possibly Romero, would be good captains as they motivate their teammates when they're in a bad spell. Son, like Kane, doesn't have it in him.
So that means every team in the premier league are the worst also since they always concede goals? It happens. It's the first game and already people are being negative.
@@indibassi i understand and i am a spurs fan too. We are known for not being clinical anyways and we are too scared to shoot for some reason. Im more frustrated than you are but im trying to stay composed.
Would you say that Aston Villa have a good defence? They conceded as many goals as we did last year. Most of the back 4 was out for a large portion of the season. If the offense can't score we go nowhere. We let in one goal on a defensive lapse. How many offensive lapses were there? MAybe 8 or 9. This loss is on the inability of the players in the final 3rd.
He doesn't defend. Now he's the captain, he expects the other players to defend hard, but given his record, why should they. Putting him as captain ensures Spurs will have another Spursy season. Been saying for 6 years he's overrated. Spurs fans are starting to see the truth finally. He was pumped up by British media and Spurs owners to make money from Asians. Even given the Puskas award for best goal when his goal wasn't the best. The powerful want to promote an Asian player.

There are only 9 games left before coach Ange Postecoglou is fired, the guy has no plan "B" and it is nonsense that he prefers Solange as 9 instead of Sonny, of those four occasions that he had, Son is 100% sure that he would score at least one
Solange is no more of a 9 than Sonny!!!, the problem is that both Ange and the Tottenham club are thinking of replacing Son before time, the club's decision is understandable, but who told that fat Ange that he will last longer than Sonny at the club???
They havent even replaced kane .thats the problem
Disappointed? Tottenham 0 PL titles, Leicester 1 PL Title. Tottenham are the underdogs
Solanke is just another Richarlison
He did play well but should have at least got one
Least arrogant football fan it's his first game lad
Son was shite.
He’s getting old
😮😮😮
When is Son going to start performing like he used to. I think he’s done. Definitely not leadership quality
Sad seeing my favourite player stink out the place, still has more talent in his left toe than Bj and Werner tho. But please man take a shot, looking like youve lost all confidence.
Be talks english??? Wow
all my life i I'm watching football bro why these guys afraid of cross the ball in to the box son was so so poor every ball him get him turn it back to maddeson Janson udogie pedro farro can't cross the ball wast full .
Son was useless, passing back 90% of the time
@@Erackness1 and refusing to use his signature top corner shot . That is so criminal for someone of his stature .
As Maddison and Udogie push up, defenders are drawn towards Son's space, leaving him with almost no options other than to pass backwards.
Most wasted talent of all time

Always conceding goals worst in the Premiership
So that means every team in the premier league are the worst also since they always concede goals? It happens. It's the first game and already people are being negative.
@@phearstahh2245 it was a easy win but these idiots can’t score
@@indibassi i understand and i am a spurs fan too. We are known for not being clinical anyways and we are too scared to shoot for some reason. Im more frustrated than you are but im trying to stay composed.
@@phearstahh2245 my expectations tonight were maybe to high! Same old Tottenham I’m afraid
What a wasted career 😂
He's very much at his level.
Would do worse under arsnil😂

Don’t blame son, it’s ange’s way of playing. We all know that son can face the RB and the LB and come in from the flank but with Ange’s tactics he can’t do that.
