This deck is a delight!! My roommate just gifted me this card, and now i can't wait to put this together and break out as many scuddy dad jokes as I can about how my creatures cant help coming back for seconds, or how they are what they eat, etc, etc.
First off, great video, it really got me off to a great start making my own "Brenard, Ginger Sculptor" commander deck, although I chose to include a few splicers along with the mainly good value stuff. When I was working on my version of a "Brenard" deck, I borrowed from your deck list and also wondered how the interaction of "Brenard" and the bottom text of "God-Eternal Rhonas" would play out. In order to have "Brenard" make a Food Golem, a creature needs to die and then you may exile it, I have come to the conclusion that you can't both get a Food Golem token and put "Rhonas" into your library since you need to exile a creature card from your graveyard to activate "Brenard's" ability and by that point "Rhonas" is off the battlefield and therefore can't move back into the deck from exile, since he no longer meets the conditions for the ability to trigger - either dying on, or being exiled from, the battlefield. So in the case of casting "Rhonas", doubling the power of creatures and then sacrificing him, you can either get second trigger of his ETB when he re-enters as a 1/1 Food Golem after being exiled in the graveyard, or you can have him return to the deck third from the top, after "Rhonas" dying and ending up in the graveyard. I hope my thoughts came through properly, and once again thank you for a great video 👍
Yeah, Rhonas doesn't work. Either you use its ability to replace the dies effect, so it doesn't die and doesn't trigger Brenard, or you let it die and exile it with Brenard, in which case it's being exiled from the graveyard, not from the battlefield.
Heya, like the deck. In the process of finishing up some cuts to it. Some fun cards are Bounty Agent (but might get cut), Boromir Warden of the tower, Keiga the tide star, Inga and Esika, and of course Urza Lord High Artificer cause they are artifacts.
Note that copies of cards also copy their mana cost, so you can birthing pod a token copy of a 3 mana value creature and go get a 4 mana value creature.

It still dies either way, you just have to choose which triggered ability to use, since both are optional "may" effects

One major addition I would look at is academy manufacturer. With all those cookies entering it'd be nice to get some coinage as well.

Academy manufacturer doesn't work it's a replacement effect so your golems would be regular food tokens, clues and treasures.
