Thank you for posting the truth of what your house looked like before! I can't stand seeing cleaning videos when they say something is "disgusting" and I can't tell the difference in their before and after shots.
The hardest part of cleaning to me is finding motivation but watching videos like this helps! Going to lunch with my mom and stopping by dollar tree on the way back to pick up supplies! Can’t wait to deep clean! Kitchen and dining room today. Living room, hallway and bathrooms tomorrow!

Maybe 2nd trimester “feel good” ? (I always felt better 2nd trimester, relief after 1st trimester morning sickness and before 3rd trimester “I’m done with pregnancy”)

My favorite way to clean my oven is to not clean it. I line the bottom with foil and I also keep a large cookie sheet covered with foil on the rack inside at all time to put whatever pan I'm cooking with on top of, so if there is any drips it goes on the foil which is easily changed out. Your kitchen is darling, by the way. Laurie

Honestly, I never read the oven manual. My mother did this with her ovens and I've always done it with my ovens. My current oven is just an ordinary Frigidaire flat top drop in oven. Been using this oven for 15 years and haven't had to vary the temp for any recipes because of using foil on bottom. You might give it a try and see if you detect any difference in cooking times. But to me, adjusting for any differences is worth it if I don't have to clean my oven. The only thing I ever have to clean in my oven is the inside of the door.

Tip I use for cleaning fans is using a pillow case... I've really found that if you put the pillowcase over the blades, then sandwich your hands around them, sliding towards the ends, all the yucky stuff stays in the bag, and it's much easier to wipe off the access. BTW - LOVE all your videos!!!

The duster was a great find for me when I use to clean houses. Easy and quick. The oven rack in with washing detergent is my fave to learn today. Will try it.

I have a few washcloths that I keep in the kitchen to use to clean the kitchen with either cleaning solution or the vinegar and water solution… But when I clean the microwave I take out everything it take a washcloth soak it in the vinegar and water stick it in the microwave for a minute or two and then let it sit for a minute or two or five and then go in and wipe everything down

I love this video! I've been avoiding cleaning my oven for wayyyyy too long. I have to try this!
a much better easier method to clean the oven grates is toss a few good quality dryer sheets into the hot water. wait about an hour, then simply wipe off the grime with a rag. when i had my cleaning business i did this for my clients and even the heavily built up gunk comes right off.

I also use an oven liner, this keeps the bottom of my oven clean, when the liner gets dirty, I just remove that and wash it and put it back, when it gets too dirty, I just toss it and replace it with a new one. I've had my current one for 10 months and it's still good.
Where did you find one? I've been in the market for a good one.
I believe u found it at home goods. I bought 2 different types, one is tan the other is black. They were relatively inexpensive. I bought both to see which one works better. I'm still using the 1st one, tan. Also check world market but I'm pretty sure I got them at HGs.

I just made your mop solution and it also works great as a multipurpose cleaner too! worked great on the sinks and counters in my bathroom.

This was by far the best and the most useful of the videos I’ve seen and IMPLEMENTED!
I put aluminum foil down at the bottom of the oven. It catches most spils, but liquid does still find its way under it.
I love that you brought up vacuuming under refrigerator. My mom always reminds me twice/year!

Sierra Hussey I have used diluted vinegar on my granite for 15 years and it still looks new.
Seal your granite! And you have to do it every few yrs.

NO vinegar or acidic cleaners on granite, EVER!!
lt34102 I have been using diluted vinegar on my granite for over 15 years and it still looks new.
So who will come do my kitchen for me? I have fibromyalgia. I know! I'll make my 15 year old do it.
I have severe fibromyalgia and it took me over a week to spring clean my kitchen. Give yourself time, grace, and plenty of rest breaks and you can do it! The pride you feel when you step into your kitchen everyday afterwards is worth all the soreness to get there, even if it doesn't seem like that now.
This video is very helpful. cleaning information. Finally now I got the right video to push me do the kitchen cleaning (mainly oven) which I have been thinking to do for a month now.
