Took a trip to Lake Hickory to fish in John's boat. It's been tough at Lake Norman so I knew it would be tough at Lake Hickory. The day started off really slow they didn't really want topwaters. Finally caught a few on shakey heads. We only caught 4 keepers it was tough.

Id say that was a decent day. 6th sense stuff is amazing. Their hard lures are just gorgeous! Man I need to make a trip down to Hartwell. Miss me some spottie action

Yes I say the paint jobs on 6th sense baits are the best. If hartwell is like norman you might want to wait until it cools off lol

Hickoy is a tough lake I have seen a 5 fish tournament take over 17 lbs in the summer

Went to james Thursday and caught 1 smallie and 7 largemouth i caught all the largemouth on a shell bed hump 5-12 ft school. Nice fish man. What company makes that baton worm?

Roit baits makes the baton its at tackle warehouse. They were on shell beds this day kinda. I need to go back to James when it cools off
