    Distributed File System (DFS) is a set of client and server services that allow an organization to use Microsoft Windows servers to organize many distributed SMB file shares into a distributed file system.
    This is a playlist of Windows Server 2019 training. I will be uploading videos in order to get started in the system administration world with Windows Server 2019. This gets you prepared for an IT Sysadmin role. Please watch the videos in order to understand the process and configuration.

    what happens if you type: " \\INFOSECPAT.LOCAL\Public-FL " instead of " \\INFOSECPAT.LOCAL\Public\FL" in the RUN ?

    Mmm...what is actually the difference between a File Server and a DFS Server then?

      That’s a very good question. DFS, or Distributed File Service is a collection of file servers
      that share a common namespace. For example:
      FileServer1, FileServer2, FileServer3 are 3 distinct file server
      resources. Doesn't matter where they are, what size they
      are, physical or virtual.
      Now a DFS namespace can combine the resources of all 3
      of these to look as one logical chunk of space, say
      myfileresource.com. The end user when connecting to said
      Ilmyfileresource.com\DATA, for example, does not know, nor care which server or where that piece of data is coming in

      In my opinion you should have way more likes for your videos and a lot more subscribers to your TH-cam channel.
      This is the best Windows Server 2019 video tutorials in VMware environment that I have seen so far.
