I feel like these things would be more fun if scouting vehicles could lase targets for you. Replace the binoculars for scouting with a target designator, that lets laser guided weapons that you’d find on many aircraft home in. It’d add a new layer to ground battles that I think would work great.

Next match, you can upgrade to the highest BR tank that you killed in the previous match. Rinse n' repeat. See how many matches it takes to get to top-BR.

You’re better off using the guided bombs against AA, they don’t tend to move as much and you can maintain some altitude to stay out of their range.

I think the games need to last 10 min longer on average. That's why I prefer single cap maps or two base caps because they last the longest.

Yes single cap maps do cause the game to last longer. But I hate those game modes because warthunder map design is always biased to one side. One side will always have a more covered and secured route to the cap which annoys the hell out of me cause one side always gets to the cap un touched and can stop the other side like nothing.

In defence of the guided bombs and rockets, they do give you the possibility to more accurately get your ordinance on point from further away, with a less precise setup. All in all they help you reduce the time needed on target, and delivers it more accurate despite airspeed, angle, and any other manoeuvring you’re doing. Kinda like dumb hellfires.

The bomb gets there quick because it's traveling at relatively the speed you are going plus factor in the speed of it falling. The inertia of the forward momentum is carried forward with the plane like a bow and arrow. Except the whole plane is the bowstring and the bomb the arrow. If you could see the target from so far away and so high, you should be able to throw the bomb from very high and far and not even risk AAA
Problem is the spawn of the planes is way to close to the map that you always get snipped by a spaa. You always gotta go low after spawning, get away n gain speed. Cilmb up to 11/12 km high and then you can try to use those weapons properly. But that takes a lor of time and sometimes the match is over when you're able to have fun. They gotta set the spawn of the planes way way more far away for top tier planes. Like from 9.7 till 11.0 should be 14 km away from map just go high and be able to shoot at 9 or 10 km away

@@Javier-1399 no. The problem is is that the spawns are too close to the battlefield that you can revenge bomb someone in less than 30 seconds. For top tier the spawn for air needs to be like 10-12km away

The TV guided bombs are actually really useful against SPAA. since most of them stay stationary, you can drop the guided bombs way beyond their range. Good standoff weapons.

Hey Phly, can you try doing Shackleton CAS? It has no turret coverage below it, and is apparently quite durable, which seems like it would make it good for low altitude CAS.

Idk if anyone else has noticed but once you get a few thousand meters up the ground texture switches to a lower res version that usually appears above (?) the normal one and can completely hide tanks. On some maps it seems to be map wide but I’m not sure. I’ve been watching something as I climbed and had them disappear and reappear when I dove back on them

Depending on weight, the median lethal dose is 1/4 to 1/2 cup, basically.
If anyone's watching this to see if it's worth it just keep in mind that now both the tv guided bombs and missiles lock onto targets including air targets but you do still have the option of just locking the ground and about 70 flares/chaff
Phlee, play the I-185 (M-82) for CAS. It is WAAAAAY underrated (3x20mm with powerphul AP + bombs/rockets). It's also really phast.

the feeling of this video exemplifies this entire update for me. Before the update i reliably got 10-13 kills a round at British air ab 3.0 (I know that doesnt take a lot of skill but it was fun) I feel lucky if I get 2-3 kills over the last 2 days. I havent been playing different idk what happened.

Day 5: Hey Phly, ive been watching you for nearly 2 years, but i downloaded the game 3 weeks ago, im grinding the Russian tree, BMP, T-80 and T-90. I play RB, and ive reached the ASU-57 along with the T-34/57. I get 3-5 kills each game. Ive noticed that extremely many of my controls, especially in Air battles are unassigned, and im unsure what every one of them do. I cant seem to find a video where you show all your controls and keybinds. If you have made one, would you link it for me? If you haven’t made one, id really love to see one!

The lowest lethal dose LDLo for the oral consumption is 1000mg/kg. The LD50 (median lethal dose) is around 3000mg/kg determined by dosing rats. This is taken into account over a 4 hour time period

Best way to cool off in WT is to play Tier II, imo. Maybe take the Ki-61’s out for a spin: Gaijin just lowered their stall speeds so they take off faster and turn tighter
