I can order my new motability car from the 12th June and was looking at this model = peugeot 2008 1.2 puretech 130 gt 5dr eat8... My current car is a 2020 renault captur 1.5 dci... It's a very similar size to the capture and is the perfect height for me to get in and out of. Reviews like yours and other youtube reviews have really helped me in making a decision. Thankyou.
@@rodneyforde1872 Fantastic to hear that 😊 You have made a great choice. I have ordered mine in red and have been given towards the end of October as the collection time. Hopefully it will be sooner as like yourself I can't wait to get it 😜 the lease is up on my renault from the 12th september so it isn't that much longer to wait I guess lol. And it's not like motability won't extend the lease until I collect the 2008, so that's a bonus.
Me too, loved my Renault Clio, but they have stopped doing the Clio in an automatic, test driven the Peugeot GT, despite it being bigger than my lovely Clio R/S line, I’m ordering in next month, when I’m due to renew
A neighbour has one of these …. A base one in that colour but very smart nonetheless. Peugeots do make smart cars that punch above both their weight and engine size.
I felt like that when I first saw one, but I can’t afford one as I want a new home and it’s my priority, But I do wish I could have this car so much!!! I love them. Especially those lights!
@@blakaeg its not the best car in the world mate but in my opinion its the best car for the money. The interior and exterior design is out of this world hope you get one soon.
Brilliant review. Had a GT eat8 in orange on order since late December and hopefully being build 1st week of May 23. Really looking forward to driving it. For now I can only watch reviews like this.
I'm so glad I bought mine in Mexico after they got rid of the 155hp eat8 version because that's the one I got. Do you have any insights on why did they got rid of that version?
had a 1.5 tdi on a 21 plate (even thou he says there isn't one ) for 4 years and love it does what it says on the tin only one slight snag and its tiny the horns a bit bip bip for the car size . otherwise perfect .
Horrific customer service... 8 weeks waiting list for defaulty car under warranty and only a year old and that's just to get a appointment for a diagnostic test!!!! typical service when you purchase a car can't help you enough but trust me when you need a car fixed thats under warranty your completely forgotten about it's so so bad... Infact once I have finished my term with this car I would never buy a Peugeot again... and it's a good car! Shame about the service after... I'm now 2 weeks without a car I can't drive and I have 2 kids that now I have to get Ubers to school and it's costing me £25 a day to do this... I get a new car every 3 years and have never experienced this with any other company... STAY CLEAR OF PURCHASING.. or if you really like the Peugeots ask your local dealer what the waiting times are and also look into the terms and conditions of the warranty.. as that's this company's biggest issue of all.. I think that would be enough to put anyone off...

@@rodneyforde1872why you decided not to go with Honda hrv?
I have the GT Line since last week, absolutely love it!
6ft 3 and has that room in the back, with the driving position in the same setting for his height......that's impressive

Totally agree David. I've just had a 3008 as a company car and it's really made me appreciate Peugeot interiors and build quality! - Tim
@00:29 I can't believe you left that bit in
İ bought my car in april 2021 and since then i spent same amount money for modification. Just dont know i love this car. İt was a love at first sight

Thanks for the kind words Kevin - enjoy it when it comes (you've picked the best colour!) - Tim
Finally arrived a few weeks ago. Absolutely love this car and very well built. Definitely not the Peugeots of old. Can highly recommend.
This guy is so funny.
Loved the "lay-by" joke!!
Picking mine up on Friday can’t wait
Congratulations! Wishing you many happy miles 🎉
Which trim level did you go for and did you find this review helpful in your purchasing decisions?
I’m jealous but happy for you!
In regards to boot space what if you removed thw false floor and parcel shelf...could you get the suitcases in
Love mine. Great car.
Glad to hear it! - Jamil

No idea but we'd love to know. Probably an emissions regulatory thing? - Jamil

Thank you for your video! It was really helpful!!
Does boot window open? Thanks
The boot window doesn't open on the 2008.
I’m guessing it’s the same as the Citroen eco!
Very nice car!
So I should short list it 😀
Go right ahead and… oh no, wrong channel. - Tim
