I love your content about sustainability. Very easy to understand and very nicely animated. I hope more people will live by these principles. Thank you.

I think that discipline and taking care of life was the dominant philosophy up until the 50s. At that point something called "the great acceleration" began. Factories increased productivity, usage of fossil fuels increased, population began to increase, etc etc. I think that this is due to a shift in mentality. Rather than a "discipline" mentality, an "act upon excitement" mentality took over. Rather than being stable, which you are if you have discipline, acting upon excitement is more of a racer car in analogy. Thus "the great acceleration" manifested. I guess that there is nothing wrong with society growing, but it also had a toll on nature, and it was always obviously unsustainable. Nothing wrong with being excited, but you have to consider the side-effects of what you're dong, and not be addicted to an emotion like it's cocaine, or take pride in being a "hard worker", when what you're doing is causing more harm than good. I guess there is also a fear of death, which may force people to work, but considering that there might be life after death, or re-incarnation, maybe it is better to sacrifice your life, doing good things, rather than adjusting to a sick society, and suffer the consequences after your death.
I think that the shift in mentality could be due to an extra-terrestrial influence, which was afraid of humanity, and thus attempted to derail our civilization, by manipulating us psychologically
