@@gladyssantiago743 I already made this hat for you, sample. I have to make another hat to record video, edit video etc. I think I will list it on Sunday because I also like to make a scarf and show it to people in the same video. What I will list next. Then will be set hat and scarf. I used aran/worsted weight yarn and 5.00mm hook.
Thank you so much for sharing this Tutorial. I've made a couple of preemie ones following your tutorial now I'm about to make some of these sizes! Love your tutorials.....keep up the good work and thank you once again x
I like this pattern and I've used it in a couple but now I'm making one for a toddler who is 19 months old and I have the crown done but my issue is I'm using the twisted blanket yarn and it isn't as stretchy as regular yarn is. So is 48 stitches going to make it where it will fit my great granddaughter because I usually have 60 stitches for an adult beanie. I haven't found a pattern of yours for a toddler. So will 48 stitches going to be big enough for her? Hoping you can reply soon. Thank you
Baby: 3 - 6 months Head Circumference: 15" Hat Circumference: 14 - 14.5 " Crown Circle Diameter: 5" Hat Height: 6" It is standard measures, but it is up to pattern. if hat is stretchy I making smaller hat crowns. You can use Newborn hat video, just make one more round for hat crown, or two, until you will get 5" hat crown. If hat crown bigger then 5" , then also can use half double crochet stitches, to make smaller hat crown. There you know, each round 1 stitch more. For example one round 2 double crochet and 2 double crochet in the same next stitch, then next round 3 double crochet and 2 double in the next stitch. next round 4 double crochet and 2 in the next .
Im going to try and make this for my hearing aid wearing granddaughter who is 8 months. Her head circumference is 18 inches. I thought this pattern would be perfect as its open enough that it shouldn’t block the sound to her hearing aids. Id appreciate any help with how to alter the pattern for her size, as im a beginner. Thank you. X
Hi, Yes I went away :) Now I am back. Lady asked these hats and I promised, so I promised I have to do :) In beginning, I will do small, simple things, and then later I will make something new. People also ask for baby cardigans, I like to make some ponytail hats. See happens, I will make what ask first, and then I will make new projects. I have to wait for inspiration :)
@@HappyCrochetClub Good to hear from you, I have two grand babies coming in may, so always looking forward to seeing what you make, I have actually designed a hat myself recently xx
@@clairewood9607 Very nice! I love designing, 👍it just takes a longer time to create a hat, but more interesting. Your first grandchild is already big, maybe 2 years old already. Good coming more :)

DK yarn for adult size I usually have 72 stitches. I think try 60 stitches, if too big, can use smaller crochet hook.
What size for 4 month old baby
Baby: 3 - 6 months
Head Circumference: 15"
Hat Circumference: 14 - 14.5 "
Crown Circle Diameter: 5"
Hat Height: 6"
