Honestly, this cover has "fixed" the only gripe I have with this song.
When Elphelt, or I guess I should say the original singer, goes to transition into the growly Hallelujah in the original she starts the Hallelujah in a growl. I always thought it would sound better if she hits the growl with the beat at the "Jah" which this song does! It's the part at 3:09
It's honestly fucking fantastic and the singers in this cover absolutely blew it out of the goddamn stage! This cover fucking ROCKS!
The vocals also don't overpower the instrumental too much.
This is perfect, basically.
Personally speaking I like how the OG singer sings Hallelujah in a growly tone since it helps convey Elphelt's feisty personality

I love this cover. Metal has always been favorite genre, and my love for songs mixing growl and clean vocals makes this song a hands down blast. ObKatiekat was down right wonderful.

Man, this cover goes so hard(and I mean hard in a good way - RIch always did a phenomenal job with the guitars, @obkatiekat and @LaceyJohnsonMusic did amazing with the vocals, and @NotRacheltable is killing it with the amazing edits!) You guys really makes for a perfect combo, and I'd love to see you guys do more covers in the future! Come to think of it, I think this is only the second time Rich had done a GG:Strive cover(the first being that collab that he did with @LittleVMills a few years ago...) I'd love to see more Strive covers from you, my man! (some of the song that I'd love to see is "Let Me Carve Your Way", "Symphony", and "Necessary Discrepancy"!)

i still think this is way better than the original. the original is a good base. but this version fills out the potential so much. the screams have life, the guitar and bass are more fleshed out, the vocals have emotion. excellent job with the composing and mixing.
