Me: He futzes around for two months, becomes the Archmage, ends your civil war. Walk around a lot.
This guy: She futzes around for 40 seconds because Arngeir can't unlock the door fast enough.
Watched other runs of yours and was thinking a commentary would be great. Really appreciate this. I love Skyrim but learning and improving these runs has clearly taken some real thought, skill and dedication.

Skyrim Console/Glitchless in 1:48:04. Over an 8 minute PR and 6 minutes faster than standing record.
I want to thank you for reminding me how much I love the game and inspiring me to start trying to speed run it. I have spent probably 15-20 hours watching this video alone trying to figure out how I could optimize my runs. Figuring out where I can be risky or where I should be safe.

Just lost an easy console WR pace because esbern didn’t finish a voice line in the Warren’s and I didn’t know it even mattered until I got back to river wood. Then when I exit the inn to get him again, cultists attack and kill me. 9 min time loss because of 3 seconds of dialogue. Tomorrow is the day though. New record coming.
oh yeah i've made that mistake before! after you finish talking to him, bump into him three times. then talk to him again to make sure he's following you

it isn't your method but at altfand you can use the become ethereal shout to skip the drop. Not sure if it's faster but you can find the shout in ustengrav

original edition is faster because the fadein animations are faster, forgot to mention that

How can you do the wait at 22:33 (19:29 in-game)? It seems like you did it after enemies showed on the compass and I can't seem to be able to do it myself.
just need to do it early enough. it'll still work a little after the enemies appear
playing on such a low difficulty level, the game does not give any pleasure, you want to impress people, play on the legendary difficulty level or on the legendary difficulty level and survival mode, at this difficulty level you do not need anything to beat the game
