It took forever, but Kinder brought their Joy and Bueno lines to the US. The Joy is an egg that is in two halves: one contains a scoopable chocolate and some crunchy cookie-like spheres floating in it. The other half contains a spoon, the toy, and the instructions/brochure thing. That's how they dealt with the "choking hazard" issue.
I always look forward to your Christmas vids. Now that the US has the regular sized Kinder, I can experience the joy that you do when you open a Kinder egg. Thank you for your years of content.

Form what I've heard, it has to do with a weird law that says objects can't be embedded in food items. Since the Kinder Joy toys are separate, it doesn't break the law. Other candy eggs have gotten away with it by doing things like having the toy container visible through the edges of the chocolate egg so it's not "embedded." But given this law, how the toy baby inside of king cake is legal baffles me.

Santa day sounds very similar to Mexican celebration of the three kings day. We leave our shoes out and the three kings bring small gifts in our shoes for children. It amazing how many different cultures share similar celebrations.

I bought like 10 KinderJoys for my siblings and sibling in laws and two secret Santa gifts. I found them at Target. But I went back tonight to buy more and the Associate said they were out, and discontinued. :(

At least my American friends don’t, guessing maybe it varies on state? I actually was talking about it the other day and a friend from there asked what it was as they’d never heard of it xD. It’s interesting to know they have it in Germany!
I wish they'd stop making dumb rules like banning kinder eggs. We have chocolate eggs here with toys in them but they don't taste nearly as lovely as kinder eggs.
