ASMR (Autonomous Sensory Meridian Response) is a tingly feeling a lot of people get in their heads while listening to certain sounds such as whispering, tapping, scratching and many more. That gameboy advance KH game was great! It was pretty darn unique.
I normally have my eyes closed when I listen to this wonderful video, but this time I kept them open long enough to see how Dr. Mario is to be played. I could have used this information a few days ago.

This is by far my favourite ASMR video. I've watched it hundreds of times, and it still really helps me to get to sleep in minutes, but I sometimes like to watch it all just to look at all of the old classic games again :)

Video game related ASMR is amongst some of my favorite. It is always nice when I see one on my subscriptions! Wether its just talking about their game collection, or clicking some game pad buttons, its always amazing

I was working on a Gameboy Advance 7 years ago and stumbled on this video in the process. This was the first time I'd heard of ASMR. I've had it since I was a kid, just assumed everyone got that tingly feeling when people "draw on your back", get checked for lice, get a haircut, etc. So thanks for uploading this video, it really opened up a world of videos for me to watch and listen to to relax and calm down.

I watched this a while ago and fell asleep a few minutes in. I just watched it again and realized you mention my Pokémon Yellow Let's Play! Thank you so much for the shout out :D
Forever coming back to this video. It's my favourite whisper ASMR video.
Pokemon Red/Blue/Yellow batteries last longer than Gold/Silver/Crystal batteries because G/S/C implemented a clock feature. To keep time accurately, the clock had to be running even when the cartridge was not in use, draining the battery quickly. Very few Gold/Silver/Crystal original cartridge batteries are still working at this point, and those that are are living on borrowed time :P. Most Red/Blue/Yellow cartridge batteries likely have a few years left, though some have already depleted.

My Gold cartridge is running fine- still stuck on beating Trainer Red- but my Yellow died INSTANTLY after I beat it.

Have you checked on Craigslist there is a decent amount being sold for not so huge prices. $50 or so....
Rare? You do realise they are customs? They are common AF. Also you can probably get one New for about $45 which is a decent price

Funny enough that my first gameboy game I've ever owned was The Legend of Zelda Link's Awakening DX for the gameboy color. Awesome video and collection by the way :)

Imma just put this out there, the first gameboy game i ever got was Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets, and to this day I have only that one game. I am also stuck trying to defeat Aragon, and FRICK he’s so angering

The reason the save battery ran out faster on GS than on RBY is that GS has a clock in game, and RBY doesn't. The clock takes up a lot of power.

Als dieses Video hochgeladen wurde, habe ich es durch zufall entdeckt. Ich habe lange zeit nach ASMR gesucht (natürlich ohne den Namen zu kennen). Schon damals in der Schule habe ich es geliebt, wenn die lehrerin bei einer Arbeit mit den Klassenkameraden flüsterte und ich goosebumps bekam haha. Als ich jetzt zufällig dieses Video wiedergefunden habe und gesehen hab das es 2k13 hochgeladen wurde. Wollt ich dir einfach mal DANKE sagen. Danke das ich durch deine Videos ASMR entdeckte und seitdem keine schlafprobleme mehr habe. Danke :)

Ich habe so viele ASMR TH-camr ausprobiert. Von deutschen, oftmals kleineren ASMR youtubern bis hin zu den großen Englischen wie zB ASMRS Darling oder Gibi Asmr. Ich bin bei allen zwar iwann iwie eingeschlafen, aber mehr aus dem Grund, dass ich einfach irgendwann total müde war. Bei dir allerdings bin ich sofort tiefen entspannt und kann nun trotz erheblicher Schlafprobleme ruhig schlafen (: Lg und Dankeschöööön Jana

The reason why your silver battery ran out first is that the GBC has more RAM capacity than the original game boy. this means that the ram needs more power from the battery in order to keep the saved game. Also, the in-game clock also drains the battery a bit. ASMRnerd did a tutorial about replacing the batteries in these cartridges so i hope i helped. Really nice video by the way, keep up the good work :)

I did touch the mic once or twice, but this can happen and it doesn't stay for the whole video. Do you have any idea how my setup looked like? Have you ever tried to play Game Boy in front of a camera, with a mic, lighting, limited space and all that stuff trying to avoid all background noises? Probably not. Try it! Let's see how good your "not hitting the mic"-skills are. ;)
