I have a question please If I want to say I'm Chinese I say : wo chi zhongguo ren So zhongguo is a Chinese But I found: my Chinese teacher = wo de hanyu laochi Can't I say : wo de zhongguo laochi ??
As far as i know , Zhongguo 中国 is the country so when you add ren it means Chinese person, but when you say wo de zhongguo laoshi that means that your teacher is Chinese. hanyu 汉语 is about the language so when you wanna say my Chinese teacher you can say wo de hanyu laoshi or wo de zhongwen (中文） laoshi。
