Not a fan of riveted hinges, would like to see those bolted or welded , what happens when they start to loosen from use ? Seal leaks now when closed ? Simple doesnt mean better
In a sense you turn your pop up tent into an A frame trailer. You could market it with a solar powered induction stove that can also be used to heat the tent. Novartis
Design a pop up cube that has fold up beams that lock into corners with hard azdale walls that fold down from roof and up from the base with frameless windows and doors that swivel lock into place forming a strong structure. Aluminum telescopic bunk beds and table and bench and shelving all included in its design. Support gear like induction cooking heating and cooling could be designed for these advanced camping tools and or emergency shelters. Novartis
Upgrade its design by using thick insulated coraplast side walls that flip up and lock into place with a front piece that locks into place producing a stronger structure and a much better product. Novartis
have you ever thought of making one of these that is a bit narrower so it only takes up half of your roof rack or even less if you overhang it a little bit over the side of your roof. My partner and I find that just about every tent and swag etc is far too wide for our needs. The use of our roof rack is far more important than an extra foot of sleeping space.
How long is it? I'm 6 ' tall and weigh 250 lbs. I am considering the idea of purchasing one to put atop my camper shell on my full size Dodge Ram 1500.
+Michael Margot went out there yesterday. checked out the expedition tent and the awning. both were awesome and be exactly what i need....but i need to save the pennies first! cheers m8
You should check these guys out as well th-cam.com/video/xQd45vUTBM0/w-d-xo.html, lower price and looks like a better product, especially with the rain fly all the way round and the rolled shoulders in the roof.
Actually, i have been making my own, 2k in the material so far. when you add it all up, using aluminum for the shell, also need struts, canvas, bedding, latter, Framing, Rivets, sealent, and a ton of little stuff.
@@CEZAMPOL You clearly thought he had made this roof top tent by himself and saved money, thats why you said nice project, the tents are very expensive. This is a bought product that costs you 4000 usd.
