George being fast isnt a problem to Lewis or he wouldn’t go battle a better driver in Charles. It’s how annoying George is whenever he’s not beating Lewis through largely luck like safety cars or Lewis being impeded in quali, having someone behind you who 5 laps into a race is trying to overtake in bad spots, cost you both time and asking the team to switch cars because he’s got more pace just to kill his tyres twice as quick is something Lewis would’ve got fed up with halfway through 2022. On top of it if Lewis is behind George he asks for team orders to hold positions.

I don’t think you beat someone over an entire season because of luck. You guys get mad when people say lewis was lucky his whole career, yet toss those accusations out when anyone else beats him. This is why lewis fans are the laughing stock of the f1 fan base. Mental illness run rampant

    • @AlwaysEwok
      @AlwaysEwok 7 หลายเดือนก่อน +9

@@weignerleigner3037 Did we watch different 2022 seasons? Lewis had every bit of bad safety car luck possible in a car too slow to overtake any of the ‘worse’ cars on track, Lewis was also driving a heavier car with extra sensors and trying wildly setups to help the team. Once that stretch of bad luck stopped and Mercedes got the car kinda sorted Lewis smoked George the second half of the season as expected….then if we gonna be honest wiped the floor with him last year so bad George starts trying insane 1 stops just to be ahead of Lewis and then like I said would ask for team orders to hold positions just so he could finish ahead of him
When someone ahead of you pits then a safety car comes and you get a cheap pit stop you didn’t overtake through skill…

I really don't see George Russell as being that good as Peter Windsor always says.
he can just qualify but really how complete is he as a racer? he is no rookie but last year made so many errors purely because he did everything in his power to beat Hamilton, from trying to control the pit wall in his favour to costing Lewis that win in Singapore and many more.
this year will be nail in the coffin for the George Russell hype train...
people need to realize 2022 was A LUCKY year for Russell In 3 races he rolled the dice with safety cars and lady luck went his way! at the begining of 2022 lewis was experimenting with that dog of a car so there was zero priority beating George lol...
but people all want to hype George up....anything to knock down lewis...
people make me laugh and it amazes me how they can convince themselves of things that simply don't exsist!

I never watch/listen to podcasts. Never. I just get bored after 2 minutes. But Cameron + Peter... I've watched every single one of them. So hats off. As to what Peter said about Daniel seems a bit harsh to me. In a sense he did leave because he wasn't able to beat Max, but I think it was because RB wasn't able to provide him that chance. Jus look at all the DNFs and other stuff compared to Max. RB was not able to make his side of the garage work. And looking back in history, that has actually always been a problem with RB "No 2" drivers. It's only changed in recent years after Daniel was gone. Daniel is not a Perez. He wants that championship. So I think Daniel was just in a very very bad place mentally by no fault of his own and needed something to change, so he took a gamble. Didn't really pay off, sure, but you got to do something if your dad does not have your back by owning the team. And I don't mean owning in the sense of Stroll owning the team.

Whn you think about it, there's no reason for Hamilton to stay at Mercedes if Ferrari want him. Let's so both Mercedes and Ferrari are off the pace, well, isn't it more interesting to be at Ferrari for a few years? And if he's going to win another championship, surely it would be more interesting for his legacy to do that in a Ferrari. So, of all the available scenarios bar one, he's better off at Ferrari. Both Merc and Ferrari are crap? Better off at Ferrari. Ferrari and faster than Merc and can win the championship? Better off at Ferrari. Only if Merc get back on form and win the championship and Ferrari are off the pace is it then a possibly bad move. So, Windsor is right, the move was totally logical.

hamilton turned into designer and was upset mercedes stuck with their no sidepods design when it was clear from mclaren and norris with the same mercedes engine proved it was copying redbull design was the way to go maybe this year will be closer

If Mercedes switching back to their zero pod concept & improving on the current RB solutions, they could possibly give all F1 fans a repeat of the 2021 season's epic battle.

I really don't like Lewis Hamilton, but I've grown to respect him over the last two years, watching him duke it out in the midfield. He's kept his damned mouth shut for the most part, and just got down to work.

If the redbull is as good as it was in 2023, you don't need Max to win the championship, save yourself some money let Sergio be world champion! 😂
It'll be more exciting to watch too! Watch Checo come from behind to score point to win the championship 😂😂😂

Peter I highly respect your views but dont you feel that Alex did really well at Williams because of the environment he at, as in he was given lot of love and support there and at Redbull its more cut throat and I feel he failed there because of a lack of emotional support, Alex is a intelligent guy but he seems to be quite emotional too and connected strongly with his feelings. I dont think going back to Redbull will bring the best out for him & dealing with machine Max too.

Most F1 fans have realized that Max's Father is on a personal vendetta to destroy Max's amazing legacy purely for personal reasons.
Trying to link the Mercedes team to a possible contract drivers contract with Max after all the terrible things the Mercedes team has forced on him, since joining F1, is pure fantasy.
Why Max's father is determined to try to destroy his son's F1 legacy, for purely selfish reasons, defies any logic or understanding.
All this insignificant BS will pass quickly if trusted F1 reporters focus solely on 'on track' performance & ignore side show distractions created by disgruntled Fathers who fear that they are losing control of their son.
