you guys are right about me using the word “knockoffs”. i was trying to word it differently, but couldn’t figure anything out before i published the video. i think “spin-offs” was the word i was looking for… thank you for all the kind comments and critiques! edit : also my professor compared ONE to squid games
I feel like inspired shows or something similar would be more accurate or even parody for some of them like battle for circle or season 1 of ii arguably imo
I wouldn’t call other object shows knock offs, they are inspired by BFDI but have their own identity. A knock off is something trying to be what it isn’t. That’d be like calling every platformer game a donkey kong knock off because it was the first game to have jumping
