Sieva: Pearson College UWC - One World 2013

Sieva is a contemporary street dance created by Topi Tateishi, a pioneer of street dance in Finland. This act aims to create a social commentary through the addition of a spoken introduction. Marianne Williamson's poem, Our Deepest Fear is about liberating ourselves to reach our true potential, which the dance portrays through an adaptation of Sieva. Music from French composer, Yann Tiersen, ties this piece together as a representation of people coming together to make a change through art.
