This means that total car production is less than 1% percent population of Pakistan. Toyota and Honda total annual production is less than 100,000 cars. So imagine less than 0.5 % Pakistanis are actually buying new expensive Sedans and SUVs. Might be you are living in Islamabad/Pindi, Karachi, Peshawar, Lahore or Golden triangle (Sialkot, Faisalabad, Gujrat, Gujranwala districts). Rest of Pakistan has very low number of cars.

Unfortunately there is a big price difference between North American cars and Pakistani cars. In Pakistan it’s considered a luxury car ( Hyundai luxury car is Genesis) but in North America it’s just an ordinary car like other sedans. In Pakistan you have to add $10-15k extra compare to north American market. I am not sure what’s the price of Sonata in Canada but I am sure it won’t be higher or lower than US market. Right now the similar car on PakWheels is USD$46k (PKR 82 lac)before registration, but the same car in the US is MRSP USD 24,999 with tax and license plate final price will be in between $27000-30000 (PKR 40-55lac) max. 2018 model sonata in the US starts from $10k.
What makes you come back to Pakistan and buy this car as a luxury vehicle?! I know what's it's like to miss home but don't make the same mistake I did.
I had driven (for work related travel inter city in KSA) Sonata and Camry 2021, Sonata is way better in comfort and space compared to Camry, I drove both on in city and on long route for around 1500 KM at speeds north of 140 KM/H one shot no stops other than for fuel only, both cars managed to get the journey done in 2 tanks, but Sonata had around a quarter of tank after 1500 KMs. Sonata can do upto 248 KM/H as it went till there as for samry it topped at 220KM/H. Overall, Sonata is a better car than Camry, as for Accord it is way better than both of them, it's not for thier comparison.
Very accurate review Suneel bhai. Apart from amazing looks and build quality: 1. Fuel average is not good - for 2 litre 2. Tires are noisy. 3. AC is not super cool. This was my first observation when I started the car first time. But now I know I was not wrong. Thanks for sharing!

I have kept 5th gen sonata , that car was not the best in reliability but it was ine hell of a fun car , acceleration wise driving pleasure even better then honda accord , new ones may have better quality specially Hyundais are know to have not much reliable engines
I used to drive the D segment in the UK... Trust me this car at this price mind blowing.... Especially Phantom Grey, similar colour in USA& CHINA... U may hate to drive the C segment after Sonata....
the prices and performance are not justified, the car is not made for youngsters, hamein Grande iski half price mein is sy behtr power and economy derhi hy, thats a huge disadvantage for this producr

Sir I think curves makes the car more expensive when gets hit on the door (Repair Cost). Would not it cost a lot more, if the doors are repaired or would it remain the same?
I think this Sonata is the only good car launched in a good price bracket and would actually give a great competition to already existing players. Although there is one negative thing about it, it is top of the line model and it still has blank switches which gives it a cheap look.
Really surprising that this car doesn't have features like Lane assist, anti collision system, ambient lighting etc, Features which are offered in cars like MG HS
Such features are a commodity in Pakistani and will only raise the price of the car. I guess they left them out for savings costs. Besides, no one uses them in Pakistani roads if you know what I mean.

P zeroes are ultra high performance tires they meant to be stiff ,if you switch to luxury tires should fix your issue
