    In my opinion for the sake of boxing Tyson fury needed to win that fight. That idiot has been holding up the Heavyweight division for far to long. Never been so happy to see one sided beat down in a fight his fans are worst most delusional I’ve ever seen in boxing.

      Yeah I agree Wilder was pure delusional and a garbage fighter.

    Remember how the racist PBC fanboys were saying Golovkin was the HBO's creation? Well guess what Wilder is...He's the definition of a hype job.

    I think Wilder got hit in the head too much. He's more off than usual.
    Great video as usual bro!

    Great video brother! Fury whooped that ass! Wilder said he would take the trilogy yesterday.. but that’s not official that’s just words, he probably has 26-27 days to decide... we’re gonna find out soon!

    If Wilder would have boxed Povetkin in Russia as he was supposed to manny years ago,he would have been exposed there and then,and Wilder would just have been another Charles Martin

    • @nordicwarrior5014
      @nordicwarrior5014  5 ปีที่แล้ว +9

      I agree. Povetkin would have wrecked him easily.

    No he cant but if he had of kept his big mouth shut with the excuses , he may of stood a chance to redeem.

    I’m gonna say a big fat no... he just hasn’t got the pedigree or the talent to rise up from the bottom again. He’ll have the fury rematch, lose in less impressive circumstances and retire imho.

    Lol Wilder looked like a Gay Sauron. I also picked Fury to beat Wilder albeit I expected a a stoppage in championship rounds. Great game plan and I’m sure Fury and team picked up on that round 12 where Fury had Wilder in bother after being floored himself. On a boxing forum I always said that I expected Joshua to deal with Wilder like he did Charles Martin so bad is his technique? One thing I’ve said about Wilder is I admire how tenacious he is, and the ability to lose rounds and find that knockout.

  • @danielwilliams5528
    @danielwilliams5528 5 ปีที่แล้ว +3

    I agree he’s got a punchers chance with anyone always thought there’s a few heavyweights that beat him fury,Joshua, Usyk, hunter, Parker possibly still Povetkin and Chisora always felt like Dillian Whyte was made for Wilder though stylistically and Ruiz

      Dillion Whyte was a trip in interviews after the fight. He can't stand Wilder!

    it was eventually going to happen as soon as wilder stepped up, i wish he,d just man up and except he was beaten by a better man instead of all these pathetic excuses

      Before Ortiz he not only ducked the top twenty, but he’s fought guys with no ranking, scores outside the top hundred and top two hundred lol. Joshua fought all his mandatories and Wilders best opponents was Spilka,
      Breazele, Ortiz and Fury who beat him twice.

    I think he could, but the "fans" calling for a immediate rematch are disgusting. He should take it slow for now imo. Do you think he could take out Knowacki health and sharp?

    • @andybowen1249
      @andybowen1249 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      I’m sure he could find Kownackis chin at some point?

    I know he’s come out with some mental excuse about his outfit, but it speaks volumes that he’s still saying he should of been allowed to go out on his shield? He’s not very bright, bless him and this shows that all he could do was go out on his shield and get knocked out imo.

    Wilder was all America had when the Klitschko’s held the division - it’s all about America wanting an American heavyweight champ. All wilder is, is a man who the media decided to focus on during the Eastern European take over - hence the Povetkin situation. IMO, Wilder won’t redeem his legacy because there’s no legacy to redeem.

    Nordic, - good analysis, - fact is Wilder allowed this in fact he brought it on himself, listeing to Fincle etc, but most of all, for the last two years that bitch he left his wife for has been playing him like a fiddle, - hell she's already announced he's gonna take the trilogy? When Wilder gets damaged, she inherits . . . . what a first rate mug he's been. Peace.

    Deontay Wilder: future Hall of Famer
    1. 10 consecutive WBC heavyweight title defences over 5 years (the 2nd longest single reign since 1985 behind Wlad), best win being top 5 ranked, 30-0, 93% stoppage ratio Ortiz
    2. KO record (highest KO % among heavyweight champions, lots of spectacular KO's, perhaps the most devastating right hand puncher ever)
    3. Historic trilogy with lineal champion Fury (if Fury beats Usyk for the undisputed championship then Wilder's case is strengthened)
    4. Most significant American heavyweight this century thus far (if Anderson and Torrez have less success then Wilder's case is strengthened), ended the 7.5 year American heavyweight title drought (by far the longest period without an American champion in heavyweight history)

    • @nordicwarrior5014
      @nordicwarrior5014  ปีที่แล้ว

      You forgot the part about most (if not all) of his fights being rigged lol.

    • @smoothcritical1
      @smoothcritical1 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@nordicwarrior5014 I don't take those claims seriously. Wilder's fights were only rigged in the sense that low/mid tier opponents were cherrypicked for his defences prior to 2018 and he always had a big helping of A-side advantage, no doubt much of it invisible (likely critically in the drug testing department). But even Sconiers came to win and almost did.

    Uncanny parallels between Gerry Cooney and Deontay Wilder
    1. Both were tall and long, regarded as devastating one-handed punchers
    2. Both were heavily hyped after impressive KO streaks and were associated with the hopes of white/black America
    3. Both suffered mentally crushing KO/TKO defeats at the hands of technically superior lineal champions (Holmes and Fury)
    4. Both responded with drug abuse (alcohol and cocaine for Cooney, ayahuasca for Wilder) and long periods of inactivity
    5. Both made comebacks but were massively diminished fighters, dominated by technically superior but much smaller, lighter punching underdogs (Spinks and Parker)

    Maybe Wilder getting beat was a good thing, he just needs to accept defeat like Joshua did and come back stronger, get himself a new trainer and new team, someone like Freddie Roach , he doesnt need yes men around him, listen and learn , stop relying on his one trick punch ko and box differently , many champions have been defeated and come back.

  • @smoothcritical1
    @smoothcritical1 ปีที่แล้ว

    He can: Wilder should end his career on a trilogy fight with Luis Ortiz
    And get KO'd early.
    "I've got to lose to an American before I retire but he [Povetkin] is a good one, he will win the title. I won two titles, so I'm not jealous." - Chris Byrd
    What happened in Byrd's next fight? Stopped by American journeyman Shaun George...
    I'm not joking. Losses can improve the perception of a fighter's ability, especially in this case. Getting officially 45 year old Ortiz the win in the trilogy would boost Ortiz's record considerably (Ortiz would have beaten a former 10 consecutive defence champion by spectacular knockout in what may well be Ortiz’s final fight too) and thus Wilder's record considerably, while excusing Wilder's derisory loss to Parker ("Wilder was mentally shot to pieces, about to lose by early KO to a fossil who he'd beaten twice in his prime years").
    Wilder and Ortiz are good friends; I'm sure Wilder would like to give Ortiz another payday, while making one last decent payday himself. Ortiz said recently that he's finding it hard to get decent opponents and paydays, everyone wins.
    There would be intrigue given Wilder's last performance and the competitive nature of the first two Ortiz fights. Ortiz seemed to have a lot more left in the tank when he fought Ruiz, winning most of the rounds. We also saw against Martin fairly recently that Ortiz can get off the canvas and still be very dangerous.
    Ortiz would have (on paper) easily the most significant win by a 42+ year old heavyweight since Foreman KO'd Moorer. He would also "prove" how dangerous he was several years ago, as well as demonstrating significant mental strength to overcome the current 0-2 deficit against Wilder at such an advanced age in what would be a moderate “upset”.
    Wilder would notch a 2nd trilogy on his record, far less significant than the Fury trilogy but still notable. Plus Wilder gets sympathy points as a broken warrior who lost four of his final five fights, three by KO.
    The only downside would be that Wilder would fall behind Marciano in the "highest KO ratio ever among heavyweight champions" stakes but that is a small price to pay. It would also make Wilder's career look less manufactured in a sense as he could always KO a couple of jobbers before retiring if he wanted to.
    Make it happen.

    Most of what you said about Wilder can actually be turned around and switched with Anthony Joshua's name too. Holy Moley AJ is corrupt like you wouldnt believe but to a much higher, much more money type of degree.

    Everyone will look like The most devastating puncher when punching a disabled old man, grandmas, Uber driver, tomato can opener. This is why I always emphasized on the Importance of having a good, competitive amateur career before jumping into pro like Lomachenko, Usyk and Beterbiev, Wilder start his boxing career late and his record are build in a very suspicious way that it get into him. He starting to believe his own hyped until he got exposed, and his trainer have done nothing to work on his fundamentals (I've trained a 22 female to become a Muay Thai fighter in the year 2000, and she performed much I mean much better than Wilder. Even though it's a different sport, but I'm a boxer before I transition to Muay Thai). It's very hard for him to redeem him self at this age to work on his fundamentals. I think just retire would have been a better option. And besides, he's loaded and set for life, so his family are secure. No need to do anything and just be grateful that he manage to go this far with very little boxing skills
    PS = I just preorder Diablo 4 just for the story, Please pray for me that it wont suck 🙏.

    Wilder has lost his aura he's might lost a lot of his aggorance too.
    Wilder before this loss was buliding himself but so were his team he also wasn't his man he would have smart people because he dosen't make the final verdict.
    Wilder has used same tactics for long time and you wonder can he do something different because if he's the same he going to go earlier and this time their be no white flag.
    needs to work on his cardio as well he was tried early.
    He needs to win that third fight otherwise he needs to retire.
    Of 38 rounds he won four that's the reality he needs to get himself in.
    Wilder didn't think this would happen to him so I can't see way back unless he humbles himself looks in mirror and says I need to do something about this otherwise we go back in history as a man who could be a great but instead a man who didn't take on all comers.
    Could been a legend but will be seen as a afterthought.
