And a shot ton of liquor
Legend has it that there are still people leaving that concert for home
1st rule of metallica...never pause metallica
2nd rule of metallica "YEAH!"
3rd rule of metallica.....scream the band name has hardcore as you can because Metallica.....this has been your metallica PSA please enjoy the show YEAAAAAAH!
If there was over one hundred thousand people at the Moscow music festival and 99% of them could not speak English yet they could scream for Ozzy Jon bonjovi and Motley crue maybe it ain't gonna take tanks and bullets to unify the world just guitars
"I like a good crowd"
*sees crowd...
"WTF!? Holy S**t...😮"
When someone asks what type of music I like my answer is always "Yes". How can someone focus on one single genre.
Right!?!? It's a FEAST out there, I refuse to limit myself to one or two genres. 🤘✌️💜💚💛
when I saw a dark-skinned man react positively to metallica, then I got hope for humanity, love you man
Those 1.6 Million people had their real taste of freedom that day. I can't imagine the feeling of being at this concert 1 month after the failed coup d'état, knowing that there will be one day when you will be able to listen and do whatever you want
If you want your mind totally blown, react to “For Whom the Bell Tolls” 1985 Day on the Green ... with Cliff Burton’s Bass solo intro..
Can you imagine the energy flowing off that crowd? I can feel it from here!
The entire time I watched this concert I was thinking...where's the friggin bathrooms 🤔😁😂🤘
Pretty sure people were like sardines in a can. Sweated all that was consumed out 😃
Bathroom is where you stand. 👍👍👍
lolllll
So was I
Wherever you happen to be standing at the time
That's not a concert, that's a revolution.
Best reaction I've seen thus far...this man truly seems to show a genuine reaction. This video will go down as one of the most remarkable concert of all time. This event was a huge part of history with the fall of Soviet Union. The energy level of the crowd is beyond words and speaks for itself.
So fun watching you react to this. Pretty much ANY cut from this performance or the Seatle 1989 show is a MUST. Great vid, man!
When you see a crowd like this do you wonder.... where the F was I? lol.
There is no chilling out at a Metallica concert. Literally every single part of it is designed to turn you into a raving animal...for five hours straight
This react of yours is my favorite so far! Metallica is absolutely a legend!!
If your in a band or a musician, this is a glimpse into heaven.
Lol hes said Metallica is a cheat code lolol that's so freaking perfect!!
IT'S A MADNESS MY MAN...PLAIN AND SIMPLE, YOU COULD HAVE STAGE FOUR CANCER AND GO TO A METALLICA CONCERT AND BE SPINNING ON YOUR HEAD! THEY ARE LEGENDARY AND STILL PACKING ARENAS AND STADIUMS AROUND THE WORLD IN THEIR FIFTIES!
AC/DC>
just so you know , that crowd was 1.6 mil just after the wall fell, crazy free Russians who had a blast
Love your grind my guy.
Angelous Bacon You're wrong, the Wall fell down in 1989, the Soviet Union in 1990.
I don't believe that there is someone who don't know Metallica! It must be fake ;)
I believe it. I’ve heard of Metallica, never listened before now, I’m 56.
80s and 90s metal bands are not everyone's cup of tea. It not called pop (popular music) for a reason. I would say anyone from any background would know Adult contemporary and soft rock. All the hall and oats and phil collins/ Genesis Michael Jackson all that music I would say is well known
Naw bruh. Believe, there are people that live in a bubble. One could say everyone has heard of Wu-Tang Clan but there are people that haven't.
No kidding! I still have cassette tapes! I’m 55. The song had a message
Many say this concert had a crowd estimated between 500,000 and 3,500,000 people, with some unofficial estimates as high over 2,000,000.
1,600,000

If I would let you guess this crowd size you would say 3 million...kid.
But it was ~175k Queen Knebworth
you invented those numbers lol
You need to check metallica battery live in seattle 1989... That will blow your mind
This was perhaps the largest concert ever! 1.6 million estimated in attendance! And no, they did not let it phase them!
false
I was at a Metallica concert in '92 in Italy. I consider myself a lucky guy 😎🤟🏻
This concert took place at the Tushino airfield in the Moscow region, if you look closely, you can see a green lawn in the background. And it looks like a desert because it was the first concert of Western Rock bands in Russia, not only Metallica performed there. And there were 1.6 million people at the concert, so it's like a desert.
I believe there were 1.6 million people in attendance, if Google is correct. Also, the actual jumping of the crowd showed up on the earthquake seismic meter/graph.
Take a drink every time he says bro. We would all be dead.
or, depending on your libation of choice, well-hydrated
Naah man, I'm drinkin beer and I'm Finnish. I wouldnt even get drunk yet, just maybe if I was doing shots? :D
Hard to imagine at one point in time there were less than this many people on the entire planet
Watching the joy you're getting out of seeing them perform in front of 1.6 million people makes me just as happy as when I watched it back in the day
That crowd grows by the day. Lmao! On the Pantera home video with footage from this show, the crowd was mentioned at just under 900,000. By about 10 years ago it was up to a million. Now you're adding an extra 600,000? Bill and Ted have been busy wisking metal heads to great historical live shows in their time travelling phone booth.
@@ryanmounce2850 Who cares? 1.6 million, 900,000 a shit load of people either way.
@@P4PKing not doubting that. Just saying the difference between 900,00 and 1.6 isnt exactly chump change. Thats an additional 700,000. Lol
Drinking game. One shot every time he says “bruh” lol
How about one shot every time he stops the video? Wasted in three minutes.
BWAHAHAHAHAHA! I'm in either way! How about every time he says "Men-tallica"! 🤣🤘🤘🏽🤘🏿☠
Or pause!
@@rrhames9778 lol. I caught that too. Somebody needs to tell my boy its Metallica Not Mentallica. Lol
You want energy. Metallica "The Thing That Should Not Be" live in Seattle 1989. You won't regret it
Harvester of sorrow from the same show too
Stormtroopers of death(S.O.D)..live at Budokan ..You should watch.....I think ,it is crazy than this concert..
More like master
Loving your reaction man! Love the song and watching you get into it made my morning!! Respect bro 🤘🏼🤘🏼
Metallica may go down in history as the most talented band of all time. Between James Hetfields distinct voice, KirkS GOD TIER guitar skills and Lars GOD TIER drums they have it all.
Lars is frowned upon by a lot of drummers coz he’s overrated and doesn’t even practice. He’s shit
They also toured for TWO YEARS straight during this album tour, non stop, for two years, sometimes more than one show every single day. 730 days STRAIGHT.
From what I heard of this show, roughly half a million people were there. It was free. You just had to show up. =)
I imagine the ground sunk in quite a bit from all those people jumping at once. XD
More like 1.6 million people
The story behind this show is amazing. Gives me chills.
Love your energy man. Had a blast watching this.
Fun fact: the Moscow show was also free for the crowd to attend. This was when Time Warner wanted to get their foot in the door. So people just showed up. Pantera was also performing to the crowd in Moscow
The intro song, Ecstasy of Gold is one of my favorites.
Are we just going to ignore the helicopters in the background
imagine if one crashed into the crowd!
Man With Two Eyes gta real life
they are trying to disperse the crowd. didnt seem to work lol
Why are you surprised? Havent you ever seen Russian dash cam vids?
I've seen the concert video many times and watched a dozen or so reactions. Yours was by far the most fun reaction to watch! 👍
Got to see Metallica Live Feb '19. They blew me away. Fantastic show! New subscriber! I loved your reaction.
