I love them all. But why is Ardyn inside the crystal in the Regis's time control theory? The only one who can be inside the cristal alive is Noct, because he is the chosen king, and unharmed by the light. The other ones we see inside the crystal are already dead (Regis, Luna and the Bros). But when Regis is talking to the crystal, it could not be Ardyn there, because he is still alive when that happen. The other person we know is inside the Crystal is Bahamut, for reasons unknown, because he showed up to Noct inside the crystal and outside the crystal as a Summon. It seems that Regis does know who is the person inside the crystal, because it seem that they have talk before. Also, the first time we see Ardyn talking to Regis is in Kingsglaive, and they haven't get along with each other. So... Is it possible that: 1. Bahamut gave Regis the Omen, because if they know Noctis is the chosen, they also know the future and what must be done to avoid Noct failing. I don't think that make much sense because the other astrals seems to accept Bahamut's positions about Noct (except Leviathan, but in the end, she also agrees in helping Noct) and the time paralels would not be a problem, because it would lead to the correct ending, so the time paralels would not be a sin in their eyes. 2. The theory that the crystal is Eos's heart makes more sense to me. If Ifrit saved Eos's heart (the part that burned and remain good) maybe a part of Eos still live inside the Crystal, the good one. So is it possible that Eos herself gave Regis the Omen and the power he needed to cheat time and end once for all with the star scourge that she spread? Remember the crystal says "I have seen many deaths, but now I'm only looking forward to one, and then I CAN REST" I mean, if that is her talking, looks like she is tired of see people dying because of her, now she only wants Noct to die, because he has a pure heart and can purify the crystal. After that Regis says that Noct will take the responsibility for himself, because that is just like him (as we see in the Iris and Noct scenes in Brotherhood), and then the Crystal says: "As must we all". So that makes sense because Eos can feel guilty that everything is happening is her fault, and Regis will also have to take the responsibility, because he is going to associate with Eos and do time tricks to make sure that everything will be alright. But remember that the Crystal says: "THEN I CAN REST" Who is the person resting at the previous logo? (before they change to Luna and Noct) Of course, is One Winged Angel: EOS. I know that sounds crazy and stuff (and I wrote too much), but in my mind, this makes more sense then being Ardyn or Bahamut. Give a like if you like it, and I hope Pez read this :) Also, I'm sorry for the bad english :(
I really like the Regis Time Stitch theory because it is something I thought about right when I beat the game and the car scene started to play again. It really makes sense especially since we were never told what Regis was asking forgiveness for.
The most intriguing is definitely the Regis controls time theory. Then it means everything can be done over and over again until they get it right. Damn. I wonder if Regis (or someone else ahem maybe Ardyn ahem) remembers every time the time is reset again. And I wonder how many times they have failed!
I'm still amazed at the level of detail you put in these videos. I'd have never put any of this all together but damn, you make some seriously good and compelling theories with the evidence to back it up.
I have this crazy theory is that she is actually Ardyn's daughter and that her mother is Kimya Auburnbrie, the witch of the woods you find in malmalam thicket and the aunt of Dave Auburnbrie.
For the 12th King theory: I still believe that he is Ardyn's father. Wouldn't make sense if Ardyn attacked himself when the KOR were summoned against Ardyn at the end. This would also add extra drama to Ardyn's story; Ardyn dying by the blade of his father like Noctis and yet he (or more so his worshipers) may have aided in his immortality (safety bit created by King's worshipers- these could be the hooded men in Ardyn concept art!), connection to undead samurai who may have killed his mother :O The missions: "Dead General Strikes down the King" in which you battle a lv 99 Ayakashi and "Bewitched Blade Stains the Waters" in which you battle a Ronin come to mind- he could have killed the 12th and his queen- possible association with necromancy/"witches"...maybe his mother really was an Auburnbrie/witch that these Samurai were sent to kill...idk just a thought.
I think Gilgamesh's role was that he was the King's Shield to the first King of the Lucis bloodline, i read this somewhere and i feel that it could be true as Gilgamesh is found at the end of the trial which is a trial for the king's shields so i fell that this is true, let me know if you disagree
Yeah Gilgamesh is the 1st King's shield. I think it would be interesting if the King got his collection of Glaives from Gilgamesh since he's always been a weapon collector/master :)
yeah i saw this in a peek of the 15 minutes. The idea that the kingsguard go to gilgamesh to pass his trials. I did have it very much in my mind that gilgy could be the first kingsguard though I didnt know it was confirmed? Is it? If so, by the first king do they mean the jelous king that betrayed Ardyn or? I just hope there is some legit explanation on why he missing an arm when gilgamesh is usually quite plentyful in the arm department :P
I like your theory on how Gilgamesh lost his arm so much better than what they told us in Ep. Gladiolus. Cor is badass for being the one to lop off G's arm, but your theory has so much more backstory and is a lot more interesting!
I am still interested as to who were the Ancient Kings and Queens of the Lucii. I wasn't completely satisfied when they only showed 4 or 5 of them awaken in Kingsglaive. I even tried to take a wild guess on who were they based from. In example, The Shield of the Just was carried by a Queen who loved her kingdom. She could've been like Queen Brahne from Final Fantasy IX. She loved her kingdom of Alexandria and wanted to protect it, which gave way for Kuja to corrupt it easily. As well as why was the Sword of the Tall stolen by daemons and brought to Castle Mark Keep. No one else had the Key to open it. Their Tombs were Out in the Open but only they specifically stole just that Sword. Was his Sword used by Ifrit to cut off Gilgamesh's Arm? Was this King deceived by a Messenger? I don't have any evidences to any of these as well as I still why the Tombs were built in certain locations like The Tomb of the Wise was built near Keycatrich Trench was well as the Tomb of the Conqueror was built "not too far" from the first Tomb. Why was there another dungeon right beside it? Did the King managed to conquer this strong daemon and kept it as a pet? But with the said King dead, Ezma's clan had to lock up those daemons so that no one else gets hurt. As well as there being another dungeon right beside the Entrance to Insomnia like as if it was a dog house in someone's front lawn. There was also my curiosity about as to why King Regis and his advisors wore black and then the Military Empire wore white. I had the thought that it was because the Kingdom of Lucis had its own skeletons in the Closet. As for the Imperial Army. It has dawned white robes to signify that they had nothing to hide and just covet everything as they see fit. There are some of the Hunts that also got me wondering, about the Cursed Painting of Lakshmi. That was an EXTREMELY large portrait of her in Altissia only to have daemon pop out of it. Then the mountain of Longwythe, that was actually a giant Adamantoise. I wanted to delve more in to the history of Longwythe. And finally the Black Chocobos. They were supposed to be extinct and yet there's one that stole Ignis' glasses and then Choco Wiz's side quest in rescuing a Black Chocobo Chick. Were they eaten by a Behemoth? A Nagarani (the snake type daemon)? Humans??? Sorry that I came up with such random questions and topics, but I thought it would be best to share a few mysteries of my own with you. Your theories about FFXV really intrigued me
about the carbuncle carving... I think I've read it in the FFXV prologue novel that it was a wooden carving. and they did take the carbuncle carving with them cause it served as lucky charm for Noctis.
Hey pez! Loved it, if i had to pick one for a separate video it would be ardyn. He is appearing all over the place through the timeline and back to solheim. I would love to see it all put together in some form of Ardyn A to B (being where we see him in the game) story.
Oh love the one abut Ardyn, and the one about Regis O__O But my favorite is definitely the one about Ifrit and Eos as well, simply LOVE that theory and seems legit AF xD
so there was a theory I recently read about Ravus, and it goes like this. it says that ravus and luna were only half siblings and that ravus's father was king regis and his mother was sylva. I thought there was some pretty decent evidence supporting this: (copied and pasted from source) Ravus puts on the Ring of the Lucii, and he doesn't die. Of anyone and everyone shown to put that ring on - if they didn't have Caelum blood, they were SOL, even Nyx, whom Regis vouched for. You could say that it was because he was the blood of the oracle and the crispy arm was just the luciis way of giving a sharp warning to the descendant of their long time allies - but doesn't the fact that he lived through it make more sense if the lucii were in fact telling a young upstart of their own blood that he wasn't worthy? After all, anyone not worthy of the ring died in seconds - even Nyx, who had potential, was burning within minutes until he agreed to give his life as payment. You need to have Caelum blood to actually survive contact with the ring; something shown pretty consistently throughout the XV universe. also he shares physical similarities with reggie and tyl noct so idk I was pretty impressed by this what does everyone think? could be rubbish but idk. also I got this from here archiveofourown.org/works/9919448
But doesn't that Ardyn origin in Omen theory contradict that of Omen being alternate timeline? Or is that still compatible because Noctis in that Omen timeline would end up the same like Ardyn did?
All of them is epic, but honestly I believe Eos being the mother of the astrals or something along that line, and Ifrit was the most loyal or something. 😅
Please could you make every theory videos of yours into a Playlist so I can watch later ? I don't have much time so I can't watch every video of yours right after you upload it. Thank you, I really like your videos.
i like the time stitch theory, since i love multiverse theories in general. also it makes the most sense to me when i think about it. just a side thing, it could also be the reason the game has a new game plus option. its another timeline.
I was just watching part 32 of your play through of xv. just a thought, but ifrit looks a lot like Ardyn. the facial structure, the long hair. maybe the other twin was a messenger that first took over when his original body died at the rock.
One question for you, Could the people of Solheim those that betrayed the goddess become the daemons that wander at night? I mean could they have been able to cheat death that way by themselves becoming daemons?
In an earlier theory video you were heavily leaning towards the idea that the dark crystal was in fact Eos's womb, but this video you reverted back to it being her heart. Which theory do you feel is more correct?
Can we talk about the reverse audio of the summons when they speak and why its in a different language? if solheim is based on the aztecs or whatever maybe thats the language could even be summarian apparently can someone get on this?
well if you translate shiva's backwards speech into sumerian, it comes out in english. However, I don't think it works with any other summon because people have tried to translate them as well with no success. :/
you know i have been saying this alot 3 hours is alot of time to jam pack a dlc with loads of info and new lore and other things. we will have to wait and see on gladdys( gladio) just how much they shove in there

Yay another theorehhhhhhh!!!! Not really sure about the Gilgamesh theory though. I feel like Gilgamesh was probably a protector of a king of Lucis.
I love your FFXV theory vids! So much depth and richness to the game that I hope the DLCs at least touch on.
I always wondered how aranea can summon her Lance just like how the gang can summon weapons
I have this crazy theory is that she is actually Ardyn's daughter and that her mother is Kimya Auburnbrie, the witch of the woods you find in malmalam thicket and the aunt of Dave Auburnbrie.

Tyler Pourmand That sounds really interesting and it would be awesome if that was true in the DLC.

Final Fantasy Peasant Michelle posted a link yesterday that was dlc info saying gilgamesh was the "shield of the founder king" I'll send it to you.
I like your theory on how Gilgamesh lost his arm so much better than what they told us in Ep. Gladiolus. Cor is badass for being the one to lop off G's arm, but your theory has so much more backstory and is a lot more interesting!
now put this into a video game and call it FINAL FANTASY XV. 10/10 story elements ;-;
Lyra Paradox Exactly my problem
My favorite theories are Eos and Ifrit theory and the Solheim one. Those blew my mind
"When his beloved queen was killed by assailants-

The Ifrit Tale of Love and Despair is definitely one of my favorites. It's just so tragic on all sides.
heaven is one of ur theory videos that never ends
Great Video as always Pez!
thanks mate :D
I personally want to hear more about the 3rd theory: Mystery of the Twelfth King. Rally interesting theory...

Enjoy every video of yours, from a loyal ff fan

4:30 bruh I never even noticed that shit in the Omen trailer till now 😂
a 10 minute summary of the first one would be nice :D
i like the time stitch theory, since i love multiverse theories in general. also it makes the most sense to me when i think about it. just a side thing, it could also be the reason the game has a new game plus option. its another timeline.
great video.
try doing a video on the timeline of events that lead up to ff15. this way all theories are shown in order.
So did Ifrit always have control over fire or did he only get that after Bahamut killed him? Plus who was the human Eos fell in love with?
If Pryna is dead, how is she in Episode Prompto if Luna died weeks before the Bros reach Tenebrae (right before Episode Prompto)?
Can we talk about the reverse audio of the summons when they speak and why its in a different language? if solheim is based on the aztecs or whatever maybe thats the language could even be summarian apparently can someone get on this?
well if you translate shiva's backwards speech into sumerian, it comes out in english. However, I don't think it works with any other summon because people have tried to translate them as well with no success. :/
the dialect shiva speaks is in Hausa translate it like that
And Gilgamesh said himself that cor cut his hand and stole a lot of his blade.
Another perfect video
My favorite is the time travel theory
you know i have been saying this alot 3 hours is alot of time to jam pack a dlc with loads of info and new lore and other things. we will have to wait and see on gladdys( gladio) just how much they shove in there
What's the name of the ending song?
combine all of them
then a masterpiece will be born
damn
All are awesome videos....so hard to choose T.T...
8:11 how... is Noctis doing that?
not even 10 seconds into the video and I already came.
Could u do an update on this please
I know you don't read this but unless they say when pryena died she could have died before Luna did
Hahaha the fox news logo, you are a real champ my friend
I loved theories 9 and 2.
Human kills ifrit. I know who is she. I said "she" so keep diging up. You might miss a big secret of world map detail. It a big whole story teller.
shame the theory that ifrit tore off gilgamesh's arm is not true now, as it's explained how he lost it in gladiolus' DLC story
Poor ifrit
Am I the only one that thinks Izunia could be Ardyns Oracle?
WHAT? no FF7 prequel theory?
Did no one see the midgar serpent(iconic to FF7, living in a swamp as well), banora apples (only existing in ff7), chocobo racing(which began in FF7), the norse name of cities (nifelheim being the land of elves in norse myth, whilst midgar being the land of men) ?

FF15 has a history of being hit by meteors....which happens in FF7
Aerith has a lineage of magical ancient people with god given power (The Cetra) Who coincidently....Noctis descends from as well
I mean one could argue referencing...but thats pretty heavy on the FF7 with the miniscule details, especially banora apples, that require you not only to be a ff7 fan, but to have played specifically Crisis core to really understand their meaning
Im disappointed im not hearing more about this
I thought it was said that all the bodies hanging in the throne room were just illusions. The only issue I have with this video. Past that, LOVE it. Great theories.
pls PES: gimme Videos about the Two ff8 theories: Squall is dead. and Rinoa=ultimecia! maybe you can explain this a Bit better. maybe you have other ideas.... pls!
Pitioss is hell.
How are the bodies in the throne room real? Didn't Nyx turn into ash???
the ultimania states they are real lol
Yeah I know that but it's quite confusing
lol 12:26 *cough Ardyn Izunia*
lol......"if you can fall from dying in this game"
