love the tone you are getting through your pedals/whatever else you have here, and your timing/precision here is impeccable. my one recommendation would be to give us an additional camera angle: one that was looking down on your right hand would help to see your picking technique, which I think other bassists could really benefit from
This is by far the best bass tone ive heard on YT. I love this band and this song... you killed it! I would love to know what bass that is. I can see it has EMGs, which are great. Also it looked llike you were in A standard for the string gauges... when I play this song on guitar I'm pretty sure it was in drop F. What is it acually in if my ears are lying to me😂
Thanks so much! It’s a Schecter Stiletto Stealth 5 and it’s in drop A# I believe. I think the guitar is in a bit of a weird tuning and I’ve forgotten if I was aswell or just normal drop tuning 😂.

Hey man, This vid has earned you a sub for sure! I love your tone, so griddy andy muddy but also defined. What are your Neural settings? I bet those verse lines were rly hard to learn
thanks so much! The verse lines were pretty difficult because of the speed but the actual fingering isn’t too bad. I have low compression all the way up with volume about 80%. Mid distortion is only 30-40% and about bit lower in volume than the lows. And my high distortion is about 70% and a bit lower in volume again to the mids.

I will start doing that from now on I think. I’ll have to figure out a way to get both angles in. Thanks for the advice :)
