With 10 years plus and back on a full time shift, will you ride the ambulance less? Just wondering about MCFRs ambulance rotation, do you need more seniority to never ride it again?
Being detailed week to week, not being part of a shift, I very rarely rode anything but the ambulance. But being a member of the shift I’ll be a part of the rotation, so ride the ambulance less, no, but will get fair share of engine and tower time. Only way to eliminate riding the ambulance I’d have to promote to Master FF Position which is primary driver of the engine, truck, or rescue squad.
Keep your head high & keep pushing on, the entire MCFRS are in my prayers, im sorry for the loss the MCFRS has suffered.
Thank you. We definitely need it right now.
