    Just FYI man this car is totally in spec for the Peterborough Chump Series, over 30 racers every Thursday, TT-02/TT-01 only, sport tuned or torque tuned motors only. It's a great time with great people, full track layouts and timing system.
    Everything else is fair game.
    Great video.

      Yes!!! You are correct! I actually built it entirely for the reason of racing in the Peterborough Chump Series!! Do you have a TT02!? Never seen you on Thursdays yet? Thanks for sharing and for comment, I appreciate it👊✌️

      I used to come out a lot. Haven't had much time to focus on RC. I actually just got back to watch the very end of your video xD
      I actually did all the prints for the series stickers, used to get out a lot when Jeremy was getting the series started.
      It's great fun and great people, hope you enjoy it, I'll probably see you out there sometime.

Felt very welcome from the beginning! A few guys from crawling got me out there and I got hooked right away 😃

    Great build! 1/10 touring cars are what got me into the rc hobby a little over 20 years ago.

    can i ask why the 1080 for you esc? I am looking at building the mustang gt 4.. and I am looking at the hobbywing 1060. was it just for your own piece of mind the 80 amps?

    • @IRONSIDE_RC
      @IRONSIDE_RC  ปีที่แล้ว

      Ofcourse!! For our racing league in peterborough Ontario, we have rules to make it fair and affordable for everyone. The 1080 is the most popular esc we use. It has 15 programmable settings and comes with the user friendly programmer. Only costs $60 so the group decided best bang for the buck!

    I know this is over a year old but I wonder how long it took before you figured out there is a protective film over the outside of the body that needs to be peeled off.

    • @IRONSIDE_RC
      @IRONSIDE_RC  8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Hello! Aha the protective film that's on the outside for painting has fully been removed. What your seeing is actually PPF. Paint protection film. I installed it In high impact areas to protect the body more it use to be a drift body so I was trying to keep it looking beautiful for as long as possible. ✌️

    Nice build video 👍👍 Did you find the stock shock springs are too hard

    • @IRONSIDE_RC
      @IRONSIDE_RC  ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks!!! Hard for me to say, my friend gave me some yeah racing aluminum shocks and springs pretty quickly into racing which I've been using ever since.

    is it weird that i prefer to drive my tt02 with a brushless and 3s combo ? i mean it looks fun n all but its quite slow with the brushed motors :/

    • @IRONSIDE_RC
      @IRONSIDE_RC  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Aha that's crazy! Would be cool to see and try out! Maybe one day! But for this league racing the goal is affordability to get more people out racing. Also track is only so big 3s would be way to fast in my opinion. Also faster means harder crashes which bound to happen with so many cars on track!
