Grats looks like it'll be a nice site for bees.👍 Ya I agree, watch the weather this Winter, I'd keep an eye up on the North end near the tree line that would make a real nice weather break. Hows the couture, you don't wana slope draining in to them.
Hey Dave, hope you are well and your Bees are in good shape for the winter break. Yes for sure i will be watching the weather closely and monitor ground conditions. I know for sure that the top end of the paddock gets water logged with heavier down pours, but generally a majority of the ground is good and firm under foot. So it will be a 'Watch this Space'.
I have 9 hives at the moment and looking to get all through winter, the new sight will have 2 Langstroth initially and then we will see how well they do through 2025 season? Looks good at first look.
How many colonies do you manage Dave?
Wish you great success.
