My base is at the ever so popular 190, -30 😍
There's another location that has quartz and ore both, if you don't mind the snow and wild pals, it's at -256, 400 ☃️

For sulfer, I just teleport to the volcano tower. There's at least 5 nodes within running distance of the teleport. This base location is definitely prime even if its annoying to build on.

Very good video. I'm new to Palworld and have a week in, but this clarified why my pals get weird and stuck with my buildings.
Also, great room design, I never would have thought of utilizing a room like that, and would've just stuck foundation instead of making a roof as another level.

If you wait for the node to spawn and place chest in between them, your pickup pals will have an easier and faster time depositing

My current ore base is right near this one towards the east below the Verdash boss fight. I'm on a mountain and there's 6 ore deposits (313, -30) but the main issue is that there's a pond and large rock formations where my pals either get stuck in the giant rocks or under the water even if I block off both things with large defense walls. Yours seems way more viable and less frustrating. i'll give it a try but moving everything over will be a huge pain lmao

Chests dont stop ore rock spawning. place multiple chests next to the nodes so your transporters dont have to spend their life running marathons. hope this helps
I appreciate the suggestion, I currently prefer to keep everything to one chest mostly for my convenience in case I need to move heavy stacks to other bases I want it next to the palbox. I totally understand that some people may not care about transporting stuff to other bases though
Please make a tutorial on how you placed these cause I can't seem to get my foundation to line up with the ores deposits.

I did everything you did in the video but i still dont know why my pals wont mine or transport anything, they just roam around with nothing to do, i have like 3 blazimut and wumpo to do the mining and transporting. I afk'ed in the base for like an hour just to see how much ores i got, but i only got 20-30 ores total. Idk what should i do now???
I’ve noticed them transporting less since the recent patch, smaller pals seem to do a little bit better than larger pals but if they get behind sometimes I find picking them up myself helps them by having a fresh start. It’s like they get overwhelmed by having a huge pile of ore sitting there. Hopefully they put out another patch soon 🍀

They must have added some sort of patch after this video because I CANNOT build out as far off the ledge as you did.
A few places I had to do foundation, put a temporary wall, then do roofing as flooring. I destroyed my stuff a few times on accident in the process, but eventually I got it to work, I hope that helps. 🍀

Now if only pals didn't always prioritize the ore over the coal. I only get a few pieces of coal for every dozen or so ore.
Oh very weird, I wonder if it's a pathing issue with your pals. I have almost a full 9999 stack of coal now. I hope they start behaving better for you. If you aren't already it could be worth trying smaller sized pals? I'm loving anubis and also blazemut even though he's larger he doesn't seem to get stuck.
@@BarbsCozyCorner I tried with cattiva but they still won't mine coal in fact they seem to completely be focused on transporting when I put them in that area.
I did eventually make another base right next to the anubis boss spawn that has five or four coal deposits and filled it up with digtoise. I have a mod that increases the number bases per base level so I'm looking for another coal farming spot because I still run out of coal very quickly.
Apparently my pals are stupid cause i did the same thing you did with the storage and they still somehow manage to get stuck inside the top storage unit... im not even sure how to fix that and i even moved the storage multiple times they still get stuck no matter where i place the storage
I’ve noticed after the update my suzaku tends to get stuck inside it now. I swapped in an additional blazemut instead and he seems to have less problems. I’ve had to play around with which pals I’m using since that patch went out. Hopefully that means the last patch is something they fix in the next though 🍀
@BarbsCozyCorner ahhh, that makes sense though since it's only certain pals that get stuck, not all of them do, but it's weird because I have 2 of the same pals out at the moment but only one gets stuck it's a head scratcher for sure but hopefully in the next update they address the pathing and whatever else needed to make the base run smoothly. For some reason all the ore that was mined won’t respawn no matter how much I try to reload the area game or anything else. Is there maybe a known way to fix this?
Ooph I’m sorry to hear that, I’ve not heard of that happening before. If you restart and it doesn’t respawn sometime today I would submit a bug ticket and see if they can help you.
You might also consider adjusting the respawn rate in the server settings if you can.
