And in the case of slugs, change the literal projectile type since the games run actual projectiles. Buck the DB, could *Maybe* work. Though I think it'd be far more trouble on the coding end if viable at all to be able to mix slugs in with a buckshot type. Maybe slugs and explosive slugs at best.
It's far less reliable for range, but close and short range it's honestly strong. I like using it on guns that I can't fund a good 5th attachment due to lack of barrel/stock selection. I wonder if ammo turning now buffs the master key too
Personally, the Bryson 800 is my favorite shotgun in the game. Decent one shot kill range and if I use the 29.5” barrel it can conquer long range kills, but not much as the Lockwood 300.
I specifically want the KSG to be added to the game so that we can have as small as a 2+2 capacity or as much as a 12+12. I would love to see the variety of builds it could bring to the game. Also, imagine if it had a separate ammo slot for each tube and being able to switch between them with the fire-mode.
For the slug build I’d replace the optic with the Sawed Off Mod. You often need to treat Slug weapons like you’re quick scoping and faster ADS is pretty essential. Not to mention you can one shot anywhere in the entire torso up to 16 meters with this build so you don’t have to be super specific with your aim I also don’t think the benefits of the Rifle Barrel really improve this weapon all that much compared to the insane ADS it adds. I really like the Agent Grip with its great boost to Hip Fire Accuracy helps you a lot for when you REALLY need to quick and have to fire before you’re fully ADS My build would be Bryson Choke, Slugs, Sawed off Mod, VLK Laser, Demo Firewall Barrel or Agent Grip

@@ryankelly1846 I could be wrong but I feel like it’s a lot better now then it used to be back then. You really wanna make sure your Tight Pellet Spread is all the way up because that’s what determines that. Bullet Velocity and Idle Stability also go a long way with this

I watch these gun guides and wonder if I’m even playing the same game. When I was grinding camo’s I would have some games that it would take 3-4 shots to get a kill. Getting Gold and Platinum on the Bryson’s was hands down the most infuriating gaming experience I’ve ever had. This is saying a lot considering my gaming lifestyle began in 1985 with my uncle’s old Atari.
I don't know how to tell you, but it didn't take me long to flip the coin on whether it's the best or worst pump shotgun... considering you have 2 pump shotguns choices lol
Another great build is the shorty... insane movement speed with the last barrel but also a respectable 1 shot range. Big downside is only 3 rounds, but so much fun to have in your back pocket for running around the map and swapping to in close range
They have the same stats, but the sawed off grip is better, because the rear and front sights stay more aligned when you strafe. It makes less difference if you go with a setup without the rear sight ring, but it still helps a bit when your gun isn't oriented at an angle from you.
Do you plan on doing guides for the launchers/melee/shield? I suppose there wouldn't be as much to really talk about, but for the sake of doing *every gun* may be worth. If anything you could do all the launchers in 1 video, and all the melee/shield in 1 video
what about hardcore? should i go for a wider pellet spread and if so, how many pellets do I have to hit for a kill, just one at any rage as long as i can hit them?
I don't think Ace covers hardcore because in private lobbies hardcore settings behave differently to public lobbies, so he said he wouldn't cover hardcore due to the inconsistency.

You really wanna focus on ADS/Sprint to fire, Tight Pellet Spread, and Movement Speed I understand the really good benefits of the Rifle Barrel but you can’t Hipfire Slugs like you can Pellets so it’s much more essential to not have a slow ADS so you can out speed your opponent and win 1vs1 situations consistently. My build is Bryson choke 12 round slugs Sawed off mod VLK Laser Demo Firewall ADS: 265 Sprint to Fire: 120 Stomach range: 13m Upper Torso Range: 32m Significantly better mobility
My most used gun in the game by far with about 5k kills with an identical set up to this prior but the hip fire spread was ridiculous before it got nerfed
How can you have a pellet spread when using slugs? A slug is a solid lead bullet fired, it does not contain pellets. A slug essentially converts the shotgun into a large-caliber rifle

It seems that they're giving a fair bit of balance and tweaking to the weapons and other aspects. As a cod fan boy, i ate my words when i expected this game to be perfect from the start. However, im genuinely starting to really get back into it with some of the changes they're adding throughout the season.
I don’t know what it is about this gun. I use the exact same set up as the all around build and it’s just so inconsistent. I almost always ADS and I’ll get hit markers at like point blank range all the time. Maybe skill based damage is real?
You need to rechamber a round each shot so recoil is more or less negligible. Recoil attachments are more suited to automatics and semi-automatics in some cases.

@@TheIntratec9 hard-scoping with shotguns isn't the best play since the whole point of no-stock attachments is for mobility. If you really want shotguns built around ADS, I would recommend slugs and tightening up the spread like Ace does. For the most part, if you really are hard-scoping, you'll need time to recenter/reaquire targets so recoil control is negligable on a bolt/pump action.

This is actually the BEST shotgun in the game lol. Back when the new shotgun came out and everyone was spamming it as if it was THAT good. I countered with the 800. Completely outclassed the other spammy shotgun so long as you can aim.

The SPAS12 might be set up for semi-auto though. Would be cool if you could toggle between that and pump action. Or maybe using the pump action version let's you use special or magnum shells.

The rifled barrel has excellent iron sights as is and I recommend not even bothering with an optic and using your final attachment elsewhere or not at all. Where as Ace enjoys stretching out to 15 meters and one shotting people, I've had no issues iron sight doinking snipers at 40+.

I really dose feel like anything with the "Lockwood" brand is code for "Style over Substance", but I want my wood pump and heat shield for a proper trench gun look. As for the 890, It may not be the best, but I think it's "Handy". When a heli comes in on DMZ explosive slug and anti-armor rounds in a quick swap mag is really handy. Having a 12 round mag to just suppress a corner with 1 shot buckshot is handy. making a speedy pump action build without lowering your mag to 3 rounds is handy. I don't know that's my comment. I freaking love this shotgun you can get some seriously long range 1 shots when ads, it just feel the most consistent of all the shottys!

but the fact that you dont need to reload as often + you can actually reload cancel after each round is a BIG advantage over the lockwood
After making a kill or two, I can reload some shells into the gun, get back in the action, and then repeat the same process.

Sawed-off ruins your aiming stability, your aim shaking so much is a massive problem for a oneshot weapon.
I did that for longshots but put a vlk on it. Slugs kinda go everywhere

This needs a buff to its base range by about 2-3m and it’ll be good. Same goes for all the other shotguns except the Broadside

HIpfire is useless on shotguns in this game, don't even bother unless you're in spanking range.
The hipfire nerf for shotguns hit hard. It's still doable, you can get 10m OHKs but it used to be much better.

When I see something like "+148ms ADS TIME", I can't find words to describe how dumb that is. Maybe add 10 seconds to ads time, because why not?

I really dose feel like anything with the "Lockwood" brand is code for "Style over Substance", but I want my wood pump and heat shield for a proper trench gun look.
As for the 890, It may not be the best, but I think it's "Handy". When a heli comes in on DMZ explosive slug and anti-armor rounds in a quick swap mag is really handy. Having a 12 round mag to just suppress a corner with 1 shot buckshot is handy. making a speedy pump action build without lowering your mag to 3 rounds is handy. I don't know that's my comment. I got to that conclusion when you said the range was equal to the Lockwood 300, which makes no sense at all
That all around class is the only way to run it. You need speed more than anything with this gun. The grips and suppressors slow you down too much.
Yo Ace, can you do controller players a favor and make a request to have controllers only use D-pad to adjust the tuning sliders. It’s super frustrating trying to get the exact point I want. And I feel like the devs will take your considerations seriously, thanks

I wonder how much randomness there is with the shogun spreads in this game.
While there is some degree of randomness, they're actually fairly consistent overall.
All around build is nice but the Pistol grip is wayy Sexier

This gun was hyped months ago but the broadside is gonna be the way to go cause it's more new still. No point to use this unless you memeing or bored
Just run one of the snipers set for close range and sprint to fire. More likely to get a 1 shot and they are about as accurate as a shotgun.
