Good morning Bro.Danny. I am where you are now. I’m at the point in my life where I don’t live for or by the system. I live everyday with Jesus. I walk my fields, gardens and woods daily communing with God enjoying His glory and the splendor of His creation. And you know what, everyday keeps getting sweeter and sweeter than the day before. I’m at peace with my life, my dying and my God.

Mr. Danny First off, good morning, and glad to see you guys are getting a break from that horrible heat.
I remember a lot of my cousins would sit down and say they wanted what their mom and dad had or they wanted what Grandma Grandpa had, and like you said they started small, kept selling, and till they got bigger and better. Well, a lot of my cousins ran out, bought the biggest home that they could finance to buy, and bought the finest car top of the line one. They can buy bought the finest truck They could buy. bought 4 wheelers and side by sides and ran out and had to have the finest clothes. They owe their souls. At this point, many of them are back at home with mom and dad.
When I went out to look for a house. There were houses that were big and they continued to try to get me to finance a large house. Well, I knew what I could afford as far as payments went. So during the housing crash I ended up purchasing a home for $42,500 little over 1/2 an acre. It was a 1300 Sq foot home built in 1972.
I had so many people make fun of me because I had this little bitty house and they were like you're never gonna be happy with that house. Whatever and now as I watch a lot of my own family struggling to make payments on those big fine homes. I said you know I thank God that I have a little house I can afford.
Most of my family owe on new cars and trucks.
My 72 Ford f100 is paid for, does what I need.
My 99 Honda accord gets me to work and back paid for.
My clothes are not top of the line.
That's why so many are in financial pain now. They owe on a house, car, truck, trailer, ATV, phone, the clothes are on credit, food on credit, hair cut on credit makeup on credit, kids clothes on credit, they are broke in their own mess.
    It's sad.

The younger group definitely needed to hear this video. And your video it sounds like you were talking about me. I'm a woman in my 70s and I can do just about anything because I never had a man around who could do the things that I needed to be done. Like putting Parts on a washing machine like doing Plumbing but I didn't know much about mechanic on vehicles. I'm part vet, part doctor and a barber, I'm a homemaker I'm a gardener and I'm a fixer upper. When I was younger I work 2 to 3 jobs so I could raise my son. I was a single mother. People need to have the Lord in their life because God always has a plan for his people. God bless🤗🙏🙏

I always find that I keep what I have by giving it away. Grand awakening everyone. My grandmother always said that if it doesn't come easy, give it away. You'll always find something better. My grandparents were always outdoors. They lived to be in their 100's.

Thank you Mr. Danny. I too have learned this instruction from Him. I had a near fatal accident that took me years to recover from and some physical ability I will never regain. I only have the skills that the Lord says I should have. I want to live your lifestyle but the Lord has so far said no. So I keep close to my church family, my kids & grands and my work (which is a Christian camp). I don’t have a lot of money but enough to pay my bills and a Christian landlord who has deemed my situation his mission work. I love his family. I have to remind myself that the Lord has planted me here and to bloom under His direction with joy and thanksgiving.

Hello Danny. I'm so thankful you have cool temps and rain too-yeah!
Thank you again for your wisdom. I do know many who have been in same job or profession for years and when jobs phased out they were in a pickle. I went to Bible College (never to be a preacher but loved and still do the Word and the Lord so was a great opportunity) I learned various skills in different jobs a long life's way. Mostly my calling and mission was to be a mommy and homeschool my kiddos. When the kids were gone and life threw me some wrenches I was able to jump into the work force if needed to but mostly still a home body, garden, raise my animals, etc
I may not have much but all I need as He provides and doesn't take much to enjoy loving the Lord and the life He's given me.
I very much appreciate the godly example you and Wanda are. I sometimes felt pressure from others to get in line with what they were doing or be like a fish out of water. Selling out for the world never would bring me any kind of reward and am glad to stay true to the Lord and His purposes.
Thank you for all you both do and share with us all.

I'm am very similar to your friend in his 70's .......but I have and still do enjoy life's moments.....this morning it was 58 degrees all the way fields around the back side of the house covered in fog with a heavy dew......it was beautiful as it receded.....I have raised 3 sons, and a stepson and step daughter with virtually zero help from their birth father.....have always worked from 65 - 70 hours a week to provide.......at 55 bad health took me down....hard ......so I have nothing really.....not in horrible debt but am no longer able to work..... having said that I keep growing food often to excess. 😂 I won't ever quit or give up but the future isn't what it could've been. 61years old and pushing on and still enjoying life's little moments 😊

This is so true. I was lucky to work in fields that required me too move. Truck transportstion and retail. Been thru 5 corporate bankruptcies, yep you gotts move. Was born in NYS moved to Oklahoma, Florida, South Carolona, Indiana and back to Florida. Got a good retirement from last employer, Walmart. Was retirement (62 age so bought my mobile home with cash and my used vehicles with cash. Thankful that i did that while i could. I am 72 now and have been single all my life. I am the only member of my extended family that left where i was born, they will die right where they were planted. A big part of that is lack of self confidence, a fear of failure. mommas & Daddy raise your children strong. Raise them to know that living is work even when your young. Dont give out praise or trophies when they are not earned. Life does not give back something for nothing. To be happy, successful even a little you have to do something.

If you haven’t lived through the ‘60’s, you’ll never APPRECIATE the 60’s😅😅😅😅 It was hot and still, back then too. We (my high-school friends & me), used to climb up a huge metal water tower to meet the sun. There was a hatch with a ladder going down into the holding tank. We loaded our pockets up with rocks so that when we jumped in, we could get close to the bottom. You went through waves of temperatures; the coolest towards the middle 1/3 of the tank.
Emerging from the ladder, smoking a joint on a Sunday morning with all the birds communicating! We even got able to coax some of them to the top of the tower😊

I also tried many things - from working as a deckhand on a salmon charter boat, to getting my Series 7 license as a stockbroker, to running a business (we had a feed store in Arkansas), to breeding and training horses. I remember a client who was a dentist - and hated every minute (sticking his hands in people's mouths), but was trapped in his lifestyle and didn't believe he could do anything else that would maintain that lifestyle. I, on the other hand, believe that life is too short to spend half your waking hours doing something you hate!

Yes, I am exhausted by the weekend and usually don't do much. I 've been trying to ahead and do some extra work around the house on Saturday so I can take a true Sabbath on Sunday. I'm doing all of this now, so hopefully, I can enjoy more later on 😊

Little by little...you will figure it out. I work from home as a consultant and my schedule can be a bit hectic at times - some weeks there's not much to do, some weeks I work 12 hour days and travel. First things first - your health. Make thay your first job to take care of. My way of doing this is to prioritize having a clean diet and making as much of the stuff I consume from scratch. Just started making my own kombucha and keffir is next. All this to say is that jobs come and go, but there is only ONE you.

Hes 41 and in good health but as we age i see what its doing. Leather hands, back hurts, body aches, exhausted and sitting in recliner after dinner asleep. Its hard physical labor and thats why the turnover rate is so bad. No one wants to do hard labor.

This is so true! I left a huge city, and moved back to a state with the COUNTY that I grew up in that is 200x's smaller, maybe 300.... ro a little single wide mobile home, and enjoy/appreciate my life! I could back then, tell you the difference in the whistle of the emergency vehicles(they are different tones) to forgetting all of that, and now feeling the flutter of hummingbird wings and lightning bugs again.😌. City people are noisey, they don't understand quiet, or they just are trying to be heard-whenever silence speaks volumes, this is a fact😉. Go enjoy your life today.

Love that you're getting some rest from the heat! Enjoy that breeze Mr Danny!
I LOVE this message! Some of us are more in tune with mortality than others I believe and some people can't face the fact that we're all going to die one day, regardless of economic status. I think once you've buried people your age and younger, it really opens your eyes to how precious time really is.

Glad that fall weather is heading your way. Most grateful that you have received some refreshing rain. I loved my job, loved helping people heal. My profession was never a lack of jobs, just a lack of people to fulfill the needs.

I have had the television off for about 7 years. I love music, but I have listened to “Christian” music only for over 10 years. I have always been careful as to what I listen to. I know that I am sensitive to music. I can “dance “ to Christian music while driving. Never tried drugs.

I am your age, Danny. Several of my friends spent 40 yrs at one job. Had no other hobbies or interests. Now they are sitting around, watching TV, doing nothing. Sad. I expanded my horizons and am still continuing. God bless.

I agree. Got our of WA state in 2020, to Alabama. Don't regret it one bit.
I was a jill of all trades through life also. If dog in the break room, look at the walls and think, "nope, i couldn't do this for 30 years! " there was always something to learn and do. I have 2 degrees and didn't work in either of them.

Good Morning 🌅 Bro. Danny !
    Amen !! 🙏❤
I cannot take this city anymore. New York City is absolutely noisy, dirty, people are on marijuana (all ages, too !!) and perversion everywhere.
    I am sick of it.
I pray that my adult children will continue to be successful as well. But I don't think they will have that same experiences. Business today is super quick with the advancements of data mining, etc.
Thank you for sharing your remarkable history. Parents aren't always correct. 😊
God bless you & your loving family.

It's bear and moose season here in Maine right now. It has rained literally constantly in Maine this year and we got one heatwave where it reached high 80s to 90 degrees this year. It's been a year without a summer here and i wish I could send you this rain in exchange for some sun for sure.

Hey danny I'm about to head into work at 6:30 for the rat race. Often I'm not sure what other route to take. I like your wisdom and when you shared about your workaholic experience.
Question - must we sometimes sacrifice for money/ job? however sometimes it turns into living to work instead of working to live

Voluntary incarceration. That's what I called it when I worked inside a factory until I retired. Not all bad, but being a free spirit, it took everything I had inside me to stick it out. Now that I'm retired I'm making the most of what time I have left and feel so sorry for those who, like you say, are still "giving it away".

Excellent advice!!! Jeremiah Babe recently did a video on how in Texas houses are being built the size of a chicken coup bc the cost of living is so high, some people can't afford a normal starter house. I literally couldn't understand how people who are that broke don't just move to a more affordable city!

One gets their learning in school, Their education in the walk of life! Whatsoever thy hand findeth to do, do it with thy might; for there is no work, nor device, nor knowledge, nor wisdom, in the grave, whither thou goest. You're exactly right Danny, sometimes you just have to turn things off. And Yes, the system sucks! J.C. (Boss of the Swamp) is one of my favorites, without a doubt he is living the life! God Bless!
