I love coffee, travelling and biking. I have interest about Nicaragua after watching this TH-cam! I hope bike riding in Nicaragua next year. Thank you, Arigatou from Tokyo
Emense Coffe Movement...your videos are excellent, thank you! I give you a high five I was born in Managua but I live in the USA for some times now. Thank you for showing Nicaragua through your videos.
Super cool! Thanks for sharing. Jinotega is cooler than Ocotal, you guys would love it there. When you do come to Ocotal, let me know and we can grab a coffee!
What a beautiful place 😍 I was a little nervous just watching you ride down that hill, so I laughed when you dropped your hat 🤣 Thank you for the tour - can’t wait to see the next one!
Exploring area on the bike is the best. If I would ever come to Nicaragua I would definitely ride my bike there, easy to get around. Thanks for showing around.👍
Loved the video! You're an excellent tour guide. Your wife's expression when eating the pastry - priceless! I don't know if you're familiar with a motorcycle rider, Noraly, she has a channel called Itchy Boots. She's riding through Nicaragua as well. It's wonderful to see the country featured by two different people. Thank you.
I looked up the channel Itchy Boots, you are soooo right! It’s super cool to see the country through another persons eyes! Thanks for the awesome suggestion and watching the video!
Que bello video de nuestro pueblo primo 😍 que cambiando está la cuesta de piedra que va al que era nuestro colegio inmaculada Concepción 😍 me hubiera gustado ver por dentro del cole 😊 saludos primo😘
Thanks for the mini tour - nice! BTW, when you opened up that pastry in the panaderia to share with your wife, her smile said it all! She LOVES that pastry! :-) Her reaction was very cute in the panaderia and at your home before enjoying the pastry with that nice coffee! My wife is like that with some foods, too. :-)
Another awesome video, I look forward to them. Seeing your farm and now town, it is easy to root for your success for you, your wife and family. Thanks for sharing your life journey with us!
hi there! thanks for this video. I was born in Ocotal but my family and I had no choice but to exile in the early 80's. Ruddy is my cousin, it was exciting watching his work. My uncle and my father were both super talented and now their sons are. The lady from the Esquinita, I can't think of her name right now but if I'm correct, she used to sell carne asada right? Is she near El Instituto? oh yeah, I think her name was Miriam right? I have a huge request if possible at all. My grandmother's home was in a corner opposite La Miscellanea de Don Reynaldo y Luisa Amanda Padilla who was my godmother. If at all possible, do you think you could make a video of my grandma's home and my parents' as they were next to each other? The last time I was in that house was July 2, 1984. As a child I always told myself we would be back in a month or so, but it has turned into 38 years, and good gosh I miss home. I want to see where her rose garden was and I am curious to see if the mango trees are still there. I been homesick all these years, it's a constant void. My grandma's name was Catalina.
Hi! I’m glad you liked the video. Thank you for reaching out! I know the feeling of missing your country, 38 years is a along time. Sounds like you remember Ocotal pretty well! My family too had to exile in the 80’s due to the war. We ended up in California. I will do my best to track down your old house. Do you know if Ruddy would know the location? This would make it easier to find and film. Let me know!
@@EmenseCoffee omg! I would be so thankful if you're able to do that for me😭, I'm already crying just at the thought. Ruddy will know yes, tell him I'm his Tio Omar's first born, Sumaya. I hope he remembers me and my name. We were both too young. Ask him what happened to the Lapa please.
@@EmenseCoffee do you think you would be willing to make a video about relocating there? I have so many questions, things in Canada are headed in the wrong direction. If you have children would you please talk about their adaptation to the system there, especially school. Please also have your wife talk about the experience from her perspective and if how much Spanish she felt she needed to speak before going there. Have you guys made the decision to just move back entirely. How are things now in comparison to the 80s? So many questions to ask and don't know where to start.
@@EmenseCoffee oh my gosh!!!!! I die for a taste of it again. Would it be too costly and maybe inefficient to try buying a pound of that coffee on the internet? My husband found a pound of Nicaraguan coffee on the internet somehow, I roast it and yes love the taste but is not the café de Palo taste I wish for😜🤤
@@EmenseCoffee Omg! Really? Okay, please let me know, obviously if it's feasible to send it via mail as it would probably be the least expensive option.
