Something about Matty spraying the box on the background at the beginning made me emotional. He’s been saying lately about how the live shows definitely won’t be the same anymore in light of the environmental crisis and of the pandemic, so something about the box being presented so simply and crudely feels like it’s the start of something new that is far more deconstructed. 😶
I actually think all the BW vids, and the reintroduction of the box may be teasing a 5th album that will be more similar to self titled, but I don't bloody know

whenever I get anxiety attacks, I always listen to this song and it makes me calm after. I always will be grateful and thanks you The 1975 and also to Matty for making such great songs.

I love how their sax player is just fully leaning into the Kenny G uncanny valley. lol....why not? He sounds great. I thought this song was ok at first....but it's SO grown on me. This performance especially really turned me around....it's actually a really sparse honest direct conversational beautiful song. Love it...

Sarhan It’s called a Lap Steel! He’s using a little metal rod called a Slide to press against the strings to make those long sustained notes :)
