I'm using Revolut from 1 year and I used to travel in different countries like France, Italy and Spain. And I can't complain about the card, it's very amazing, and you can control your spendings
For me, Starling wins on being ethical too. They treat their workers well and pay at least the National Living Wage, and don't invest your money in any nasties either.
Which of the three is best for someone living in Canada? My dad wants a UK digital bank but has a Canadian address. With his bank in UK they want his cell number for added verification and it is not a UK cell. He wants to put her pension in the bank and use it in Canada on a bank card that is either debit visa or mastercard. I welcome any suggestions thanks
Hi there! Thanks for getting in touch. Unfortunately, none of the three digital challenger banks in this video are available for Canadian residents and would require UK-based details to set up. I would recommend comparing a couple of digital banks available in Canada, which you can check out here - www.finder.com/ca/digital-banking
Absolutely. You can open multiple bank accounts as long as you meet the eligibility criteria. Many people have different accounts to help them organise their money - or you could split your money into separate pots, including specific pots for bills, in a digital app like Monzo or Starling.
Hello:) if I send money from one bank, for example Revolut, to my card of another bank, for example - HSBC, or vice versa, will it be charged? Do they charge a fee for sending money?
Hiya! For the most part, money transfers in the same currency should be fee-free, while cross-border transactions usually charged an exchange fee. It's always good to check with the specific app beforehand to make sure you're OK with any potential fees. Hope that helps!
All three cards are free to use abroad, but Starling also offers free unlimited cash withdrawals. Whereas Monzo and Revolut have a monthly limit on free cash withdrawals of £200. You can read more here - www.finder.com/uk/revolut-vs-monzo-vs-starling
All 3 apps offer similar support via the app, email or telephone - and the reviews for customer service are fairly positive across the board. As digital-only apps, none of them have in-person support via a bank branch. So if that's something you require or would like from your banking provider, a traditional high-street bank might be a better option for you.
I’ve had Monzo for quite a while and just got a Revolut card for its crypto features, but they seem to be limited. You don’t cover anything in great depth so I will have to look further.

Hi! While you can easily use Revolut, Starling or Monzo in Turkey, you won't be able to open an account with any of these three providers if your home address is in Turkey as as they are not yet available there. Hope that helps.
Hiya. At the moment, Monzo is only available to people who live in the UK or have a UK address. But you can transfer money internationally using the app. Hope that helps.
Hi Aztur, thanks for getting in touch. It's a little tricky as Revolut do not accept cash or cheque deposits. If you open a Revolut account as your main bank account you can ask to have your salary paid into your account. If you want to transfer cash funds into your Revolut account you could try visit a money transfer service in-branch. Otherwise, I would recommend getting in touch with Revolut to find out more. Hopefully that helps 😊

Hi, can Starling be used for buying cryptos. I have found Revolut is very unstable. I wondered whether Skrill would be an alternative, in particular, for Coinbase Pro? I'm a member of Finder. Huge selection of Information.
Hi Carol, lovely to hear from you! At the moment you can't actually trade directly through Starling. Instead you'd have to choose one of its trading platforms available on its marketplace including Nutmeg, Wealthify and Wealth Simple. Out of all three, you can only trade crypto with Wealth Simple at the moment.

Revolut has no FSCS guarantee, right?
Correct, Revolut is not a bank but it is regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority as an electronic money institution.
Starling wins with post office deposit
Revolut have started charging a 0.5% fee for any spending / exchanges over £1000 / month
Revolut doesn't have a banking licence like Starling and Monzo, it's a registered e money institution
But you get the same protection as a bank as that has changed recently and due to your money going in to a UK bank it’s covered.
@@Jsarson1976 the issue is that you just have to trust them to do as they're supposed to
