@@Tkolbo_ Redhead MTB Park is amazing, when you get up here someday I’m showing you the locals tour! Nonsense is right, 3 years of drought conditions and then just nonstop rain all over MN closing trails. Breaking stuff on your bike is always a great reason to upgrade, wanted an i9 Hydra hub since I first heard that buzz!🐝
@@AndrewGehn All the up hill kills me especially becuase my bike isnt setup for a lot of up hill. But it is deffiently a great park and the views are insane
Great video Andrew! Nice to see the Redhead perspective from a local and here the the tips for "skip" jumps lol. Im headed up there this Saturday. Any suggestions on must hit trails/loops for the gnarliest, funnest stuff? Looking for all the jumps, tech, and flow you got! Keep it up man!
@@jasonosowski3305 Thanks, Rock Solid actually has been working on the trails recently so they’re running great, that “skip” jump on roller derby is no longer a skip. The must-ride, best trails are Orange Crush, Fractured Falls, Secret Garden, Rinse and Repeat, and Roller Derby. The rim XC loop is one of the most scenic rides in the state, I’d recommend riding it clockwise for better flow. Should be an awesome ride!
Hummingbird and MTBer Shred Head to Head! Nice opening shot haha! The Spire is sweet! I'm on a Scout myself..Transition gang! Also upgrade from a Fuel EX9 myself so we have a similar bike progression journey! Your ripping those trails man! If you ever are in Pisgah and need a trail guide holler!
Thanks man, you are lucky to live near the Pisgah trails! Will do, it’s certainly on the ride list someday! Fuel EX is an awesome bike, especially here in the Midwest for the vast majority of trails, but I was pushing its limits a lot at the bike parks. Spire and Scout are so much better at descending but somehow aren’t a complete chore to pedal around! 🤙🏻
“Oh boy it’s Roller Derby” in mock excitement 😂 had me rolling! Love the mosquito on that opening shot too! I’m digging those upgrades to the Spire, the Industry Nine hubs sound so good. Great riding at a beautiful trail system on what looked like a fantastic evening! Can’t wait to get a tow into those local lines! 🤘
Stoked to ride with you again to ride the range for your second time at Redhead! Going to be a big day on the bike with lots of new trails! Yeah Roller Derby hasn’t quite been the same for me…Was going through the raw footage and that mosquito had to make the Final Cut 🦟 Breaking bike components is always a good reason to upgrade, Industry Nine hubs definitely have a love it or hate it sound 🐝🐝
It's a lot more technically challenging than Cuyuna for sure with all the exposed bedrock at the bottom of the mine pit. One of the best and certainly most scenic in Minnesota and the Midwest. Glad we have the choice on the Iron Range between these different types of trails though!
Damn those trails look so fun! We are just so water logged down here…absolute nonsense. Excellent upgrades to the bike! Wheels sounding crisp!

I have been biking these trails the last couple of weeks and its really fun. Kind of new to MTB but I love challenging myself on roller derby.
@@CaydeEberling Roller Derby is a tough one. Redhead MTB Park is an awesome place to start riding mountain bikes!

Great trails! Thanks for the Redhead tour.
Thanks Randy, now we just need to find some space on that calendar for the in-person tour of Redhead!

Thank you, we have awesome trails at Redhead MTB Park! Thanks for saying hello, hope you both had a great day shredding Spirit!

Redhead looks more challenging than cyuna. Less flow and more tech. Thanks for sharing this with us.
