This game feels like a soulless B-Team project, as it disregards every lesson Argonaut learned from the Croc games that they applied to "The Emperor's New Groove". Limited lives and continues don't belong in a lengthy game with a save feature.
we both absolutely agree with you, definitely feels like an outdated remnant of older, arcade-like game progression
